Héctor "El Father" (Héctor Delgado Román) was born in 1979.
Tito "El Bambino" (Efraín Fines Nevárez) was born in 1981.
Héctor y Tito started their career in the 90s going by the name of "Los Bambinos" after singing with other reggaeton artists. Together, they released several albums and rose to fame in all Latin America.
However, in 2004 the duo announced they were separating. Since then, they have gone on with their careers separately. Although not really in a tiraera war, their relations have been tense.

haya llegado a alcanzar

The lyrics of "Amigo" by Hector & Tito tell the story of a son reaching out to his father through a letter. The son reflects on the consequences of his actions and acknowledges the principles his father taught him. He remembers his father's warnings about not eating sweets given by others and behaving like a man even when he was just a child. The son also regrets his mother's fate, taking responsibility for her suffering and acknowledging that her death has left him devastated.
The son expresses frustration that his father never taught him about the consequences and effects of drugs. He reveals that he is now imprisoned due to his addiction and longs for his father's visit, but believes his father is afraid of rejection. The son compares himself to a sick person waiting for death, consuming cigarettes to calm himself. He dedicates these final words to his father, expressing his love and the pain he feels as a result of their lack of communication and guidance.
In "Amigo," the lyrics explore themes of parental guidance, the consequences of one's actions, and the destructive effects of drug addiction. It highlights the importance of communication and responsible parenting in shaping a person's life.
