The big range of Hella Donna’s music directions with a constant musical quality is already expressed by the fact that it has been so difficult to finalize the choice of song to be uncoupled for the single. So ultimately the decision was made to publish a double single CD with both "Give Me Some Time" and "Starstalker". An additional "goody" to the album is a video clip to the song "Starstalker" which also is a promotion-trailer for a film of the same title, produced by Dreamfilms, GmbH. Coming in 2008 to the German cinemas with excitement guaranteed!
"Hella Donna" (being translated laxly as "Supergirl") is primarily embodied by Cindy Leissner. She catches both the eye and ear with her charisma and striking voice, proving this during the last two years in numerous live gigs. Nevertheless, Cindy is not alone! Sven Hessel (guitar), Tim Lehnert (drums) and Rene Voigt (bass) together all provide for the right musical sound - aerial guitar pop with rock and punk elements bringing you a continuous party mood! Nevertheless, this band would not like to be put into a certain "drawer" because the reality is that its music is too various! Also, for 2007 numerous gigs have already been planned for Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland. So, what are you waiting for? " Come On"!!!
Hella Donna has dedicated their first album to their former bassist Sandra Vollrodt who unfortunately died on 13.12.2006 as a result of a horrific traffic accident. Sandra sang the back-up vocals just a few days before her untimely death and will be dearly missed and never forgotten (and not only thereby).
My Heart
Hella Donna Lyrics

It's my heart you take
It's my heart you're dealing with
And it's my heart you'll break
It's my heart you're taking
It's breaking bit by bit
It's my heart you're dealing with
But you don't know about it
And if you'd know what I know
I don't think you'd ever play me
I know you'd never play me...
It's my heart you're stealing
It's my heart you take
It's my heart you're dealing with
And it's my heart you'll break
If you'd feel like I feel
And if you'd know what I know
I don't think you'd ever play me
I know you'd never play me...
I don't think you'd ever play me
I know you'd never play me...
I know you'd never play me...
The lyrics to Hella Donna's song 'My Heart' convey the emotions one feels when they have opened their heart to someone who is not reciprocating the same feelings back. The singer is addressing the person they love and telling them that their heart is being stolen, taken and dealt with by the other person, who is unaware of the damage they are causing. The singer is aware that their heart is breaking bit by bit, and although the other person does not know about it, they should feel how the singer feels and know what the singer knows. The singer believes that if the other person truly felt the same way, they would never play with their heart or break it, as they know the pain it causes.
The lyrics reflect the vulnerability and honesty that often comes with love, as well as the fear of being hurt. The singer is aware of the power dynamic at play, where one person has more ability to cause damage than the other. Ultimately, the singer wants the other person to understand the depth of their feelings and the repercussions of their actions on the singer's heart.
