They shared stages with the likes of Casbah, Jurassic Jade, Outrage (Jpn), Shell Shock and Rose Rose. Hellchild released 4 full-length studio albums. They've split up after releasing a split album with Converge in 2001.

All members except the guitarist went on to form the band From Hell. From Hell split after bassist Yasuo Satoh's passing on April 4th of 2004.
