The band consist of Shuntaro (vocals & guitar), Narumi (guitar & vocals), Tasoko (guitar) and Makoto (bass). The band debuted on October 5, 2011 with their debut single "センチメンタル症候群" (Sentimental Syndrome).
Their debut album "マジルヨル：ネムラナイワクセイ" was released on January 18, 2012.

The song "Countdown" by Hello Sleepwalkers is a reflective piece about the choices one must make in life, as well as the consequences that result from them. The lyrics paint a picture of a dawn ceremony, where a countdown is about to begin. As the countdown unfolds, the singer reflects on the tears shed in the past, either those that have fallen from his own eyes or of those around him, and how they have blended into the world. He further contemplates about the path that he has taken, reminiscent of following a single set of train tracks, and how this path will dictate his future.
The singer is contemplative and thoughtful throughout the song, as he wonders how long he must live his life guided by simple monetary gains. The loss and flow of his tears from the past are rendered meaningless against the constant sounds of commotion that drowns out his emotion. The song ends with him taking the plunge, diving deep into the world, where everything seamlessly blends in, and becoming one with the ebb and flow of life's currents.
