Solamente Una Vez
Hermanos Michel Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of Hermanos Michel's song Solamente una Vez (Only Once) speak about the experience of falling in love, and how it happens only once in life. The opening lines state that the singer has loved only once in their life, and that it was a singular event that cannot be replicated. They describe this love as something that shone like a beacon of hope in their garden, illuminating the path of their solitude.
The chorus of the song goes on to explain that when someone falls in love, they give over their entire being to it with a sweet surrender. This miraculous act of love is celebrated by bells ringing in the heart, signaling a true and deep connection. The song concludes with a final refrain of the idea that love happens only once in a lifetime, and that when it does happen, it is a cause for rejoicing and celebration.
Overall, the song Solamente una Vez speaks to the idea that love is a remarkable and precious experience that happens only once. The lyrics convey a sense of wistful nostalgia for a past love, and a deep appreciation for the power of love when it is found.
