My strong tower, my everything
Through the hurt and pain, He's my relief
Celebrate His name
Let's all celebrate let's all celebrate
Let's all celebrate, Jesus, our Lord and King
Let's all celebrate
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus jesus, our Lord and King
Jesus, Jesus celebrate His name
Let's all celebrate, let's all celebrate
Let's all celebrate, let's all celebrate
Let's all celebrate, let's all celebrate
Celebrate His name
Let's all celebrate, let's all celebrate
Let's all celebrate, let's all celebrate
The lyrics of Hezekiah Walker's song "Celebrate" convey a message of joy and praise towards Jehovah, the provider and strong tower. The song emphasizes the idea of celebrating and rejoicing in the name of Jesus, recognizing Him as our Lord and King. It acknowledges that despite the challenges and pain we may face, Jesus is our relief and everything we need.
The repetitive nature of the chorus, with phrases like "Let's all celebrate" and "Celebrate His name," encourages listeners to join in the celebration and exaltation of Jesus. The use of the name "Jehovah Jireh" references one of God's titles in the Bible, meaning "the Lord will provide." This highlights God's faithfulness in meeting our needs. The strong tower imagery symbolizes God's protection and security, emphasizing His role as a source of comfort and refuge.
Overall, the lyrics of "Celebrate" serve as a reminder to focus on the goodness and provision of God and to find joy in praising Him. It encourages believers to come together and celebrate in unison, honoring Jesus as the Lord and King of their lives.
