And you don't know really what to do
Just call in Jesus, he will see you through
For he knows
Jesus he knows
If there's a trial to that had come your way
And you are looking for a brighter day
For he knows
Jesus he knows
How much
We can bear
Jesus he knows
How much
We can bear
He knows (How much we)
We can bear (We can bare)
He knows (How much we)
We can bear (We can bare)
He knows (How much we)
We can bear (We can bare)
He knows (How much we)
We can bear (We can bare)
He knows (How much we)
We can bear (We can bare)
Jesus he knows
How much
We can bear
The lyrics to Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir's song "How Much We Can Bear" are a vivid illustration of the message that no matter what challenges one may face in life, faith in Jesus Christ can help one to overcome those challenges. The first verse connotes a person who may be going through a difficult period in life, and possibly feeling lost. The lyrics encourage such individuals to reach out to God during these moments of uncertainty and confusion, for He can help guide them through every step of the way until they overcome their struggles. The song emphasizes the idea that while we may not know the solution to our problems, Jesus always knows the best way forward.
The second verse reinforces the message of the first, as it encourages anyone facing trials and tribulations to call out to Jesus, who can make a way out of no way. The lyrics suggest that Jesus has unlimited power, and can help those in need navigate even the most daunting of situations. In the chorus, the song repeats the phrase "He knows how much we can bear," an affirmation that Jesus understands our limits and will not give us more than we can endure.
In summary, How Much We Can Bear is a testimony of faith in God and a reminder that faith can help us overcome life's challenges, no matter how difficult they may seem. The lyrics are straightforward and impactful, and the tune is a beautiful gospel melody that's uplifting.
