The first Hiawatha Telephone Company album was released in 2009 and comprised thirteen low-fi demos which were compiled in a collection titled 'Harry Smith was my Father' which is also available to listen and download via Bandcamp. There is a charming review by Common Folk Meadow blog.
A double-A-sided single Old Oak Tree / Sweet Charity was released in Spring 2012.
The second Hiawatha Telephone Company album 'Passengers Greatest Hits' was released in April 2014, recorded straight to tape in a single weekend, with help from M. Butterfly and Maria Marzaioli. It is available as a pay what you like download (or in a limited edition CD). There's an interview on the album's gestation at Brighton Music Blog:
"You have to treat this album differently from the things you’d normally listen to. It should feel more like a stroll around a small art gallery than putting on a record or CD."
In 2016, the Hiawatha Telephone Company song 'Waking Up With You' was given a Kraut-rock makeover by the Brighton rock band Cloud.
An EP of covers of songs by Tim Hardin followed in 2017, and then 'I'll Follow The Sun', a demo of a song from a yet-to-be-recorded new album.

In 2018, Hiawatha Telephone Company announced that after ten years as HTC the next album would be released under the name The Family Grave.

Not all in the game but we're all playin' it
You cry your heart out at little things
I try to comfort you, with little things
We're not all the same but we're all related
we're not all in the game but we're all playin' it
Your clear blue eyes, can reflect the sun
My clear blue thoughts don't hurt any one
I sigh out loud sometimes, I might wear a frown
that doesn't mean honey, I don't want you around
We're all the same but we're not all related
we're all in the game and we're all playin' it
Politicians are trying their best but it's so complicated
The next ones will still make a mess, that much is fated
Some people are looking for peace but just ain't that strong
But a soldier fighting for peace seems incredibly wrong
We're not all the same but we're all related
we're not all in the game but we're all playin' it
Two people can be so close, yet fight all the time
Love is a battelground, makes no reason or rhyme
We're all in the game, we're all related,
We're all the same, yeah, we're all playing it
We're all in the game and we're all related,
We're not all the same, but it's so complicated
The lyrics of Hiawatha Telephone Company's song "Twins" delve into the complex nature of relationships and human existence. The first two lines set the tone by highlighting the unique qualities that make each individual distinctive, yet emphasizing the underlying connection that binds us all together. While we may have different roles to play in life, ultimately, we are all participating in the same game.
The second paragraph describes a tender moment between two people. One cries over trivial matters, and the other tries to provide solace through small gestures. This emphasizes the notion that even though we may have different approaches to dealing with emotions, we all share the desire to comfort and support each other.
In the third paragraph, the focus shifts to personal experiences. The singer's thoughts and perspectives are symbolized by their clear blue eyes, which can reflect the sun's brightness. The line about clear blue thoughts not hurting anyone suggests that the singer's introspection does not harm others. It implies that one's inner thoughts and emotions can remain private and harmless, even though they may appear intense to the outside world.
The fourth paragraph explores societal and political complexities. The lyrics imply that politicians struggle to resolve the intricate issues they face, creating a messy situation that transcends different administrations. The mention of people seeking peace but lacking strength suggests the challenges of finding peace in a world filled with conflict. The line about a soldier fighting for peace seeming wrong challenges traditional notions of warfare and its underlying motivations.
The fifth paragraph delves into the complexities of personal relationships. It highlights how two people can be close, yet continuously engage in conflict. Love, depicted as a battleground, defies rationality and predictability. This further underscores the multifaceted nature of relationships and the paradoxical aspects of human connection.
The final lines reaffirm the message that despite our differences, we are all intertwined in the game of life. We are all related, suggesting a shared humanity, but we are not all the same, acknowledging the vast diversity and complexity that exists within our collective existence. The repetition of "We're all in the game" emphasizes our shared participation, while the line "but it's so complicated" acknowledges the intricate nature of our interactions and experiences.

We need a class-action lawsuit for the irretrievable loss of 16 minutes and 30 seconds each.

@tscott6843 Your comment is just the funniest thing. With bad videos like this one, One really only tunes in to read Comments.

Haha, I had a funny feeling and (FORTUNATELY) I decided to quickly scroll through it - before committing my time to watching.
I saw basically nothing so I came to the comments to see if there was SOMETHING I missed.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nope!
The only thing that bothered me was that they still got my ‘click’ - so I made sure to make it worth it - by giving the video it a THUMBS DOWN! 👎🏻
