The first Hiawatha Telephone Company album was released in 2009 and comprised thirteen low-fi demos which were compiled in a collection titled 'Harry Smith was my Father' which is also available to listen and download via Bandcamp. There is a charming review by Common Folk Meadow blog.
A double-A-sided single Old Oak Tree / Sweet Charity was released in Spring 2012.
The second Hiawatha Telephone Company album 'Passengers Greatest Hits' was released in April 2014, recorded straight to tape in a single weekend, with help from M. Butterfly and Maria Marzaioli. It is available as a pay what you like download (or in a limited edition CD). There's an interview on the album's gestation at Brighton Music Blog:
"You have to treat this album differently from the things you’d normally listen to. It should feel more like a stroll around a small art gallery than putting on a record or CD."
In 2016, the Hiawatha Telephone Company song 'Waking Up With You' was given a Kraut-rock makeover by the Brighton rock band Cloud.
An EP of covers of songs by Tim Hardin followed in 2017, and then 'I'll Follow The Sun', a demo of a song from a yet-to-be-recorded new album.
