Pre-Debut
On October 30, 2017, Richworld Entertainment announced that producer and singer Rich would be producing a four-member girl group called High School, which will debut in the second half of 2018. The girls pre-debut concept had them wearing masks to conceal their real identities because Rich wanted people to focus on their talents instead of their visuals.
In late 2018, members Dami (다미)and Yiseul (이슬)) left the group and were replaced by Yebin and Y.
Due to the member changes, it was decided that the group's debut would be postponed until March 2019. Unfortunately, afterwards, the choice to lengthen the postponement until April 2019 was made.
There was plans that for the group to release two pre-release singles "High Class" on March 20, 2019 and "Baby You're Mine" in April.
On March 20, 2019, the group ended up releasing one pre-debut and pre-release single titled "High Class".

Whoo
Come on
Alright
Little louder now
Hey
Lookin' forward from center stage, to graduation day, time to get the future started
No matter what, it's somethin' we're a part of
We learn to fly
Together side-by-side
I just hope the rest of my life, will feel as good as my
High school musical
Who says we have to let it go
It's the best part we've ever known, step into the future
But hold on to
High school musical, let's celebrate where we come from
The friends who've been there all along, just like
Our high school, high school musical
Improvisation without a script, no one's written it, and now we have the chance too
Someday we'll be lookin' back
Memories we've had, all the songs that we lived through
The best of times
So why leave them behind
Why can't the rest of my life
Be like my
High school musical
Who says we have to let it go
It's the best part we've ever known, step into the future
But hold on to
High school musical, let's celebrate where we come from
The friends who've been there all along, that's right (That's right)
Now we finally realize
Who we are, it just took some time
We had to live and to learn to see the truth
Learn to see the truth
But nothing's ever impossible, into the future we all free-fall
But forever we'll always have high school
Time to party, now celebrate
'Cause the world's one big stage, but any part you want can be yours
Everybody sing, yeah
And the show is never gonna go
It's what got us here, we know
High school, lives on forever more
High school, high school musical
High school musical
Who says we have to let it go
It's the best part we've ever known, step into the future
But hold on to
High school musical, let's celebrate where we come from
The friends who've been there all along, oh yeah
I wish my life could feel like a
High school musical
Who says we have to let it go?
It's the best part we've ever known, step into the future
But hold on to
High school musical, let's celebrate where we come from
All together makes it better, memories that last forever
I want the rest of my life to feel just like a
High school musical
The song "High School Musical" from the Disney Channel Original Movie of the same name is a tribute to the high school experience and the memories that come with it. The lyrics talk about looking forward to graduation day and the future, and yet wanting to hold on to the memories and experiences of high school. The song is about the friendships, the music, and the moments that make high school special.
The line "Who says we have to let it go?" implores the listener to hold on to the good memories and to not forget where they came from. The line "Now we finally realize who we are, it just took some time" shows that sometimes it takes time to figure out who we are and where we belong, but ultimately we find our place. The song ends with a celebration of high school and the memories that will last forever.
