The lyrics of PLANETES by Hitomi seem to reflect on the theme of searching for meaning and purpose in life. The singer seems to be lost and unsure of where she is going, asking herself where she came from and where she is headed. She is looking for something deeper and more meaningful, something that will give her life purpose and direction. The title of the song, PLANETES, refers to the Greek word for wanderer, which is fitting given the theme of searching.
The first stanza speaks of searching for the meaning of life, with the singer wondering where she came from and where she is going. She is lost and unsure of which direction to take, but she is determined to find her way. The second stanza speaks of the interconnectedness of all beings and things, with the singer acknowledging that everything and everyone is connected in some way. She hopes to find happiness and fulfillment in these connections, in a world where there are no boundaries.
