HonoRebel is a lyrical genius, known especially for his energetic stage performances which can capture the topical issues of the day and have the crowd in laughter at the same time. Out of August Town Jamaica, HonoRebel's rise to fame started when he was known as HonoRebel Apache, recording for producers Willie Lindo, Lloyd Campbell, Richie D, Black Shadow and Shang Records. He racked up an impressive number of hits including Hurricane, Material Girl, Who Dis Mi Crew and Camouflage. But it was his stage performances that kept his concert fans coming back for more. In the late 90's he took his career into his own hands by collaborating with Sly and Robbie, Paul Kastic, Birch, Track Junkies, and Scott Storch, eventually creating a new sound for himself. HonoRebel released Fire and Ice, produced by his management team Rude Bwoy Records and distributed by TP Records. FIRE AND ICE was well produced and critically acclaimed, and featured guest appearances by many artists including Elephant Man, Cam' Ron, Hopeton Lindo and many more. In addition to being a talented performer, HonoRebel has showcased his exceptional writing skills for Anthony Cruz, Kashief Lindo, Don Yute, Bling Dawg, Etana and the list goes on. Since his debut, he has toured the US, Jamaica, Japan, Africa, and is scheduled to tour Europe in the fall of 2007.
