1. Hurt (sometimes typeset as HURT) is a rock band formed in 2000 in Virginia, now located in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Currently signed to Carved Records, the band has released three major label albums, with the fourth, The Crux, released on May 1, 2012. The group consists of lead singer J. Loren Wince, guitarist Michael Roberts, bassist Rek Mohr, and drummer Victor Ribas.
The band first released the independent albums Hurt in 2000 and The Consumation in 2003. Many of the songs from these albums found their way onto their first two major label releases, and The Consumation was re-mastered as The Re-Consumation in 2008. The band received critical (though not commercial) success with their major label debut album, Vol. 1, released on March 21, 2006. Their singles "Rapture" and "Falls Apart" gained minor radio airplay on rock stations throughout United States. Their second album was the critically acclaimed Vol. II, released on September 25, 2007, and they gained their largest radio rock hit yet with the single "Ten Ton Brick."
HURT released their fifth studio album on April 7, 2009, titled Goodbye to the Machine.
On May 1, 2012, the album The Crux was released on Carved Records featuring the single "How We End Up Alone."
2. Hurt formed in Wrocław, Poland and debuted in 1994 with a tape titled "Babilon". In 1997 they released a live album "Serki dietetyczne". After that follwed another cd "Dokładny czas". (2000)
Then the group stopped touring for a while and almost put an end to it's existence. However, after some personnal changes they've returned in 2005 with "Czat" contaning the hit "Załoga G" and started touring more then usual. In summer 2006 Hurt toured with happysad.

But I couldn't get used to it
As another bird has gone
It's like seven years alone
I just couldn't get used to it
And I believe in what I see here in your eyes
And I believe in what I see here in your eyes
I believe in what is real
And I think you for listening to how I feel
'cause it's just what I needed, like the pain that made it real
And I finally found out how, because you finally showed me how
It feels to be you, and to be me... and to be me... and to be
Fast forward yesterday, to the things I wouldn't say
'cause I couldn't get used to it
Guess everything's my fault and I shouldn't do nothin' at all
'cause I couldn't get used to it.
'cause I believe in what I see here in your eyes
I believe in what I see 'cause I believe in what is real
If the only thing is pain then it's "so real"
And I thank you for listening to how I feel
'cause it's just what I needed, like the pain that made it real
And I finally found out how, because you finally showed me how
It feels to be you, and to be me... and to be me... and to be...
If I could I would I'd do anything to take back the hurt, frustration and the pain it brings
Some of those times you sat alone and realized "fuck!"
That's not the way you should have wanted it
If all of my actions show
It was good to be you and to be me again.
If all of my actions show, then all of the truth be told and all of my...
The song "Thank You For Listening" by Hurt is about the singer's struggle with pain and how being listened to and understood by someone else helped him to cope with his emotions. The lyrics begin with the singer acknowledging that he can empathize with someone else's pain, but he cannot fully adjust to it. He compares it to losing a bird, which may represent someone he cares about who has died or left him. He continues to express his belief in what he sees in the other person's eyes and in what is real, but acknowledges that it is painful. He thanks them for listening to him and understanding what he is going through, as it helps him to feel better and more connected.
In the second verse, the singer looks back on a time when he struggled to express himself and felt like everything was his fault. He emphasizes his belief in what is real and how it can be painful, but he is grateful for the other person's understanding. He expresses a desire to take back the pain and hurt he has caused and acknowledges that sometimes he realizes too late that he has done something wrong. He ends the song by focusing on the importance of actions and how they communicate the truth of someone's feelings.
Overall, the song is a powerful reflection on the importance of being heard and understood, and how it can provide comfort during difficult times. The pain and emotions expressed in the song are raw and authentic, making it a relatable and emotional experience for listeners.
