1) Mike Truman and Chris Healings have been writing, producing, touring and DJing all over the globe for the best part of a decade, amassing near 250 productions. The duo has written four LPs to date: Wide Angle, 1999; Morning Sci-Fi, 2003; I Choose Noise, 2006; and Disappear Here, 2010 – all on Distinctive.
Since first bursting onto the scene with the now classic album, Wide Angle, in 1999, the Swansea, Wales-based Hybrid have been known as one of the most forward thinking and technically skilled acts in electronic dance music. Blurring the line between in-studio production and live presentation, Hybrid are one of the few remaining dance acts to perform live with a classic band setup.
Though, much has changed on the road to Hybrid's fourth artist album Disappear Here. Most notable is the addition of Hybrid's third member – singer / songwriter Charlotte James – to go along with founders Chris Healings and Mike Truman.
With Disappear Here, Hybrid have managed to create an epic and unique sound which has progressed dramatically from its original dance inception but still retains much of what makes electronic music so exciting. The album features guest vocals from Tim Hutton, drums from Alex Madge and the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

4) Indie garage Punk band from Fankfurt with an amazing stage show, existing since 2001. Their music is influenced by Indie Rock and Classical Rock.
5) The core of Hybrid have now been together and making music for almost ten years now. Drummer Richard Brooke, guitarist Martin Hayter and keyboard player / vocalist Dave Boland first met together and started playing their own, unique brand of rock in the very early nineties. Along with bassist Paul Brown, they wrote and sporadically gigged for almost three years which resulted in them recording a set of demos known as the 'Lost in Relativity' tapes.
Personnel:
Dave Boland - Keys / Vocals
Martin Hayter - Guitars
Richard Brooke - Drums
Oliver Wakeman - Additional Keyboards
John Mitchell - Bass / Vocals

6) Hybrid was also a hungarian extreme modern metal band between 2001 and 2008 formed from the ashes of local rapcore legends Mindcrime. They released a demo, a single and shared festival stages (at Hegyalja for example) with such bands like Tankcsapda and Cadaveres de Tortugas.

Hybrid Lyrics

Encompassing sounds from the devil's playlist.
Technics would call me a, turntable sadist,
Leave your head feelin' all, cumulus nimbus.
Beatmix your soul, 'till you're cross and faded,
Lost in the breakdown to, feel less jaded,
You spin the tune backwards, to hear what was said.
Voodoo grooves, that will raise the dead.
Crawl into your brain then I cut and paste,
Making beats from your nightmares then we'll turn them into breaks.
We'll make the bassline oscillate...
As we fuel it with your anger and, inject your hate.
We'll extract the essence, of the grimace on your face,
Give it low end theory, to make it sub-bass.
So we leave, and by, weird example,
I'll pillage your village then, loop it as a sample,
Play back your life in a tune,
You'll all be affected 'cause no one's immune.
We're motherfuckin' twisted!
Distort the frequency.
The lyrics of Hybrid’s song Sleepwalking portray a dark and disturbing image of a sadistic character who enjoys messing with people’s minds and emotions through music. The opening line describes this character as “somnambulistic,” which means sleepwalking, suggesting that he is living in a dream-like state or under the influence of some mind-altering substances. Despite this, he remains “blameless” and seemingly in control of his actions.
The following line “encompassing sounds from the devil’s playlist” suggests that the music he is creating or manipulating is dark and demonic in nature. The reference to Technics, a popular brand of DJ equipment, underscores the connection to music and the skill this character possesses. The line “beatmix your soul until you’re cross and faded” highlights the power of music to affect our emotions and state of mind. It suggests that this character is deliberately manipulating the rhythm and tempo of the music to affect the listener’s mood and consciousness.
The next few lines depict the character as a sort of mad scientist, using his powers to extract the “essence” of their emotions and inject them into the music. The line “play back your life in a tune” suggests that the character is able to somehow capture the essence of the listener’s experiences and memories and turn them into music. Overall, the song Sleepwalking paints a vivid picture of a disturbing character who uses his powers to control and manipulate others through music.
