The band consists of members Robbie Wood, Robin White and Paul Whelan. Using what equipment they had around they began making improvised drone jams, soundscapes and intense drum loops. They spent most of 2012 recording at home and buying an eclectic range of equipment such as handmade Japanese oscillators, 80’s Keyboards & Percussion. After releasing a few home recordings and remixes they spent the past year playing shows around Brighton and London. Hypnotized use warped visuals, strobes, face paint and masks making their shows intense and unpredictable. Their influences range from Electronica, Krautrock, Hip-Hop, Dub, Noise, Space Rock, and Psychedelia.
A new EP named Telesto is soon to be released with Brighton label Love Thy Neighbour, capturing sounds from their live shows. The 5 track EP named after a moon of Saturn manages to voyage you through different landscapes and atmospheres.
