The style could hardly be defined in a few words: there are dark ambient noise collages, grievous instrumental improvisations, provocative post-punk basslines, analog-synth rhythmic and whistling pieces in a Galakthorrö way. All tracks are linked by inventive ideas and feeling of nostalgia, revealing sense of mystery, cold emptiness and gloomy charm.
His first composition was recorded in 1993, and during its existence Hypnoz has released several limited CD-Rs and CDs, including "Chronica Plennyh" on the label Insofar Vapour Bulk (which gathered tracks from different periods), and participated on the compilation "Iznutri" by the Ewers Tonkunst label.
Aside from Hypnoz, Dmitry played in several other projects: Zuboff Sex Shop (post-punk), Circle of Iron Tape (harsh noise), BRZB (electronic, with Alexey Borisov), Hum (drone ambient, with Dmitry Chistov), Der Golem (drone industrial, with Roman Sidorov).
Hypnoz's most acclaimed album, "Breath of Earth", was released in 2008 on Zhelezobeton. The basis of the most tracks was recorded by Dmitry together with Evgeny Voronovsky (Cisfinitum) during their joint night psychedelic sessions, and this is evidently felt in their mood. Stylistically this can be called tranquil electronic ambient with a remarkable experimental touch. Slowly twisting sound helixes, drawing inside the astral subspaces, pulsating rhythms, cosmic sounds of old analogue synthesizers – all this produces an appropriate effect on the listener's mind, and there's nothing more to demand from music.
Discography:
2001 - Angel Scum
2006 - Хроника пленных
2008 - Breath of Earth
2009 - Einsamkeit des Winters
2009 - Ende des Herbstes
2009 - Autumn Sun
2011 - A Score for Iron Blues

I have the 5” tip set with swivel & regular cords. They are a dream to work with. The tips are perfect, you can make lace, getting the tip under 2-3 stitches easily, but the tips aren’t so sharp that they’d split the yarn either. It’s like Goldilocks.
Knitters Pride are my go-to because of how much thought they put into each product & line. The mindfulness series is the only set I need, and is definitely my favorite because of the premise of relaxing & enjoying your craft.
And, yes, the bag is perfect for small projects. Every single detail was excruciatingly thought out & made unique.
Have a great day.

Goldilocks. I LOVE that. Haha! I completely agree; this entire collection is just amazing!

Thank you for the video. I love that yarn that you are using on the project that you are showing. Do you know the brand and color?? Thanks!!!
The Graceful Tangle
Of course! This yarn is Knit Picks Muse; here is a link if you'd like to try it out! One of my absolute favorite yarns ever! https://shrsl.com/3xc1p

I agree!

These are beautiful! Do you think the cords are similar to chiaogoo?
The Graceful Tangle
I agree! Yes, for sure. I was thinking of Chiao Goo needles the entire time I was working with and trying out these needles. A great substitute for sure. Though personal preference...I just love the aesthetic of this collection and color palette more than Chiao Goo as well :)
