Eden is where the serpent satan was plotting and scheming

The serpent was extremely smooth and had an evil heart that was darker than the king of spades in a deck of cards.

He asked Eve a question, and he followed up with a lie
Satan asked Eve a question and then lied to her immediately after.

He responded with Nah, you will not surely die
The serpent replied with a direct lie when Eve believed that breaking God's commandment would lead to death.

She fell for his trick, took the fruit and then ate a bit Gave to her husband who was with her and he ate a bit
Eve was deceived by the serpent and ate the forbidden fruit. She then gave some to her husband, Adam, who also ate it.

By reading the Bible, we can find a mirror that shows us our true selves. Satan damaged this mirror and ruined our self-image, but Jesus has bridged the gap and allowed us to return to our original, intended image.

Nowadays we take our image from the me-d-i-a They tell us what to wear, how to look and act and think And what we should say And we fall for it eat it up like a flock of seagulls flyin'
Today, we often rely on the media to determine our self-image. They dictate how we should look, act, and think, and we blindly follow their lead.

Most people of us are unaware that we’re spiritually dyin' And our men idolize rappers and the image they portray But all they rap about is money cars sex and fame And there’s this one particular dude whose name sounds like Bill Gain All he does is boast about himself and his dollar bill gain
Many of us are unaware that our spiritual lives are suffering. Men idolize rappers and their lavish lifestyles, but most rap music is solely focused on money, cars, sex, and fame. The artist referenced in this song only boasts about his wealth.

Our women watch BET they learn all about s-e-x They think true beauty is on the outside that’s why they showing they chest And they say premarital sex is the norm And being a virgin is lame They want to be like the girls in the videos like Drake, Plies, and 2Chains
Women watch TV shows like BET that often focus on sex. They believe that physical appearances are the most important factor in beauty, leading them to show off their bodies. Many believe that premarital sex is normal and being a virgin is undesirable. They want to imitate the women in music videos of artists like Drake, Plies, and 2Chains.

Our identity is twisted like the locks in your hair And it’s sad to say because it seems like some parents don’t care But it could be the fact that we’re messed up even more than the kids And It’s sad to say that all this is a result from original sin
Our identities are tangled and distorted, much like the locks in one's hair. It's unfortunate that some parents seem to not care about the harm this does to their children. However, it's possible that the parents themselves are dealing with their own issues. It's a sad outcome of original sin.

Now we were made in His Image In His likeness we were created man This is biblical truth and it shouldn’t have to be debated man Open the bibles up to Romans eight verse twenty nine If you read that text you’ll see that we are pre-des-tined
We were made in God's image and created to be like Him. This is a biblical truth that should not need to be debated. By reading Romans 8:29, we can see that we are predestined to be like Jesus.

We are called the be like Jesus Christ so what does that mean We should strive for protection and be holy and clean 'Cause all that’s in the world is the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes And all those things are passing away just like the pride of life
We are called to be like Jesus. This means that we should strive for purity, holiness, and cleanliness. The world is full of temptation and desires of the flesh and eyes, but all of these things are temporary and unfulfilling.

Jesus wasn’t filled with pride he was humble and low Always inquiring from His Father which way He should go Jesus is the second Adam through which we are redeemed He fixed the mirror Hung it up on the wall and gave it a thorough cleaning
Jesus was humble and constantly sought guidance from His Father. He is the second Adam and through Him, we are redeemed. He fixed the broken mirror and gave it a thorough cleaning, allowing us to see our true image.

The meaning that I'm tryna to get you to see Is that when we look in the mirror it's His image we should see So strive for protection, always keeping your standards high Don’t compromise cause Jesus didn’t do it for you or I
The message that I am trying to convey is that when we look in the mirror, we should see the image of Jesus. We should strive for purity and high standards, and not compromise on them because Jesus also did not compromise for us.

I thank God for Jesus standing in the gap for us Let’s take it back to the original image
We should be grateful to God for sending Jesus to bridge the gap caused by sin. Let's return to our original self-image intended by God.
