The band "I.Q.66" started feb 8 2003. This is the first reheasal dated. First of all the band did skate-punk, fast punk rock style. When did a few songs the band felt ready to go on stage and show'em what they got. So they did - first gig they played was birthday party of a metal band that also did rehearsals in the rock club "Sfinx". The gig didn't make guys famous but guitarist made his first jump. The heroes were: Kseniya Zhorova on vocals, Alexey Pautov on guitar/vocals, Artem Laptev on bass and Andrey Kipriyanov on drums. Second guitarist Andrey Svalov entered the band and they did a few gigs with him onboard and made a record "We Have Guitars - We Are Punk Band!" that was recorded in one take in AV Music studio. You will never see that cd they hope.
Then Artem Laptev left the band and they had to get new bass player so they had to play with side bass player some time. Then Andrey Svalov also left the band with his own reason - he wanted to play drums as well with his friends punk/hardcore band "RIOT". After that there was a long and hard time for the band. Especially there was problem number one - to find a fucking bass player that can perfectly fit the band. Some time passed and Alexandr Margiani left his band "Zigg-Zagg" (that actually broke up) and joined "I.Q.66" perfectly as guys thought. Band started to write new songs, more technical, less well-it-is-not-perfect-but-it-fits with more music quality purposes and entered AV Music studio to record their first as-it-should songs so there were recorded "Miss Oblozhka (Miss Front Page)" and "11 Dney (11 Days)". "11 Dney" has finished only in december 2005. But happiness weren't last long so Alexandr Margiani left the band to sing in the band's friends emo/metalcore band "Last Day Stories". There weren't no more good relationships with Alexandr Margiani and "I.Q.66" because he said he doesn't want to make band's plan to record more songs and to play a few gigs and he just dropped the band. Also some time later he left them too.
There were a few tries to play with other bass players before Maksim Cherkasov from Voronezh has appeared and he wanted to play with "I.Q.66". It was december 2005. Guys told him "Other band or us only. We don't need no music whores" and he understood and left his band "Born Slackers" and joined "I.Q.66". Autumn 2006 the band entered studio to record "Ozhidanie" demo, consisting of new 7 tracks in new style - mix of punk rock and emo. Drums and bass were recorded in one take in the rehearsal room so there were vocals, guitar tracks Alexey recorded at his home.
2006-2007 season was full of gigs and by the end of spring band entered AV Music studio to record song "Planety (Planets)". Almost all summer guitarist Alexey Pautov was chillin out in New York City to see a few bands and autumn 2007 is the time to write new songs and not to think about the style.
