Back It Up
II Tone Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Huh..aye..yeah yeah..
MMMMM!
Yeah *clears throat*
Mmmmmm..haha...aye

(CHORUS)
Didn't hop off no porch.
I just stuck to da sports.
If I didn't skip class they all called me a dork.
But little did they know i wanted it more.
I rather study, handle business & score.
& that isn't in a particular order.
From head to toe I got them all out of order.
From toe up u look like a mf hoarder
You toe up. Don't show up.
I show out. I blow up.
U roll up.
I roll out.
Some say I jus roll bounced.
I roll up da whole ounce.
I jus pulled ur hoe now.
Oooouu... and she told me to slow down..
So I go slow now..but it's eatin alive because in order to survive..I've been told...I gotta speed it up.

(Verse 1)
These White folks say I'm too black.
These Black folks say I'm too white.
But I ain't nothing like no jill or jack..
& u kan tell jus off my first sight
I intercept any punt intended.
Jus like Jesus wept for the ones who sinnin
I aint grinnin.
Kant u tell. It take a lot to put a smile on my face.
I gotta be willing!
I'm too authentic to be dealing with anything fake
This ain't no gimmick .
Jus give me a civic
cs long as them windows tented I'm up in it
U jus flexxin dat rented.
Now what's gonna happen if u get it dented?
U a busy lil critic, but u coming up short..jus like a midget
See i had to go get it
Might jus katch me spinning.
But I will NOT FIDGET

(CHORUS)
Didn't hop off no porch.
I just stuck to da sports.
If I didn't skip class they all called me a dork.
But little did they know i wanted it more.
I rather study, handle business & score.

(Verse 2)
I'm ballin. Im back. Yo bish on my dick kuz she want little Mack.
She told me dat u don't kno how to crack ...da code
I'm all in her crack ..no stove.
She throwin it back. Bish bold.
You don't kno how to act..kuz u old.
I'm sippin on act but I ain't no activist
Sometimes i jus needa take me a trip
Sometimes I jus want a sididy bish.
She wasting my time so bish give me hip!

Yeah
She wastin my time bish gimmie hip

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to II Tone's song "Back It Up" talk about the artist's journey and experiences amid societal pressures and expectations. In the chorus, II Tone reflects on his upbringing, mentioning how he prioritized sports and education over other things. He acknowledges the judgment he received for being different and expresses his determination to succeed. The line "From head to toe I got them all out of order" suggests that II Tone doesn't conform to societal norms and does things his own way. He also mentions his encounters with haters and critics who try to bring him down, but he remains focused and resilient.

In the first verse, II Tone addresses the racial stereotypes he faces, being deemed either "too black" or "too white" by different individuals. He asserts his unique identity and pride in being different, contrasting himself with typical stereotypes. He also mentions his resilience, likening it to the story of Jesus weeping for those who sin. II Tone emphasizes his authenticity and refusal to engage with anything fake or inauthentic. The line "I'm too authentic to be dealing with anything fake" represents his commitment to staying genuine in his actions and interactions.

In the second verse, II Tone brags about his success and the attention he receives from women. He uses playful and boastful language to assert his confidence and dominance. He mentions his ability to crack codes and navigate different situations, highlighting his intelligence and adaptability. II Tone references indulging in activities like sipping "act" (presumably referring to a type of drink), taking trips, and being attracted to sophisticated women. However, he also expresses frustration with those who waste his time, demanding that they provide him with something substantial in return.

Overall, "Back It Up" is a song that depicts II Tone's journey of self-discovery, determination, and resilience in the face of societal pressures and expectations.

Fun fact: Exercise no 1 and 2 are also for up-lifting breasts. You'll not only see differences in your arms and back but also there will be a noticable change in your breast shape and size too. Just continue doing these exercises and you'ld be very happy after seeing the results. Trust me.
