Ze liegt niet en maakt geen zoetsappige flauwekul liedjes. Ze heeft ballen en stijl. Ze zingt en rapt over hoe het is in het leven van een muzikant en van een zelfstandige sterke vrouw. โWeer een nieuwe dag in het leven, weer een neppe lach maar wat geeft het, geen cent in mijn zak, niemand weet het, zolang er maar muziek is en te etenโ, zingt Aisha in โMaskerโ.
Met een stevige werklust en passie voor muziek releaste Aisha in 2010 haar EP, bouwde ze haar eigen studio in haar huis en timmert ze verder aan haar muziekcarriรจre: nog meer muziek en nog betere shows. Op het podium staat een act, een show die laat zien hoe het moet.
Van haar moeder Jetty Weels, van de beroemde Nederlandse popgroep Mai Tai uit de jaren โ80, kreeg ze als kind veel mee. Ze heeft vele jaren en meters achter de rug in haar ontwikkeling als artieste. Ze kent het klappen van de zweep. Ze deed mee met verschillende talentenjachten. Werkte samen met Donavon Nelson, de voormalige manager van George Michael. En was deel van de meidenpopgroep LaliQ. Ze werkte ook samen met de producers van de Sugababes, Reverse en het duo The Opposites.
