Man I remember when I first heard this song. It had just hit the scene and they played their first big show at BFD at Shoreline. I was 16 and went with my best friend. Watched them rock the stage so raw and talented and beautiful. That was the best moments of my entire life. It was like walking through heaven and feeling the very resonance of some higher power striking my soul with every beat of the drum.

Had a rough time listening to this, it reminds me of my best friend who took his life in 8th grade, it was only three years ago. It was hard going into high school without my buddy. It still hurts, rest in peace Joe. Then with my girlfriend who had a troubled past and life just isn't going right for her. She recently became very sick, and now her dad, and grandpa are terminally ill. I worry about her because she is the sweetest girl and my everything, but she has just been dealt a bad hand her whole life. Oh yeah... 10 years ago. Good ol days when ota radio stations actually were encouraged to play more than 5 or 10 songs on repeat every hour (unless overpaid from some like ads &/or labels back then), even with many downloading songs like this 1 to their own devices making their own playlists. At least we can still make our own playlists with songs like this.

I remember listening to this song when I was 10. Didn’t have a damn thing in the world to worry about. Sitting in the living room, watching naruto and playing on my DS, now I’m in my first year in college. I’m only 19, but Jesus memories being brought back from when life was so simple and fun make it seem like a million years ago.
