Chris Impellitteri formed Impellitteri in 1987 together with Rob Rock as vocalist. That year, they released an EP called the black album. The selftitled EP was well-received, and Impellitteri regrouped, this time with Graham Bonnet as lead singer, and release the full-length album Stand In Line in 1988.
After some touring and label deals, Impellitteri returned (again with Rob Rock on vocals) with Grin and Bear It in 1992. The following year, they released another EP titled Victim of the System. In 1994, they released Answer To The Master.
In 1996, Impellitteri released Screaming Symphony, which has become one of the most acclaimed albums of the band. In 1997 they released yet another EP titled Fuel For The Fire, in preparation for their next full-length album. The next year, they released another of their most acclaimed works: Eye of the Hurricane. They followed it in 2000 with Crunch.
Shortly after, Rock decided to pursue a solo career so Impellitteri recruited Graham Bonnet again, and started working on his next album. In 2002, they finally released System X. That year, they also released a compilation of hits called The Very Best of Impellitteri.
The union with Bonnet would be short-lived as they parted ways some time after, and Impellitteri recruited Curtis Skelton, finally releasing Pedal To The Metal in 2004, one of their most aggressive albums to date.
Chris Impellitteri is currently working with an LA band (as a member, not leader) and has announced that they will release a new album soon.
Chris Impellitteri has been ranked together with Deicide drummer Steve Asheim and bassist Adrian Davison as perhaps the fastest musicians on their respective instruments.
The band is currently on hiatus as Chris recently joined a Los Angeles band, and is working with them on a new album.
Fear No Evil

Rich man looking down his nose at you
He's got the good life and you get abused
The Lazarus syndrome is in your face
Sores on your back, begging at the gate
Rich man dies and he goes to hell
Send down Lazarus to cool my tongue
Agony and torment ain't no fun
Hell, yeah! The fire burns, and it's waiting there for you
Hell, yeah! You better learn 'cause there's nothing you can do
I will fear no evil, I will conquer all the demons
I will hear no evil, I will conquer all the beasts
Rich man begging for another chance
Go tell my brothers (to) avoid this dance
Can't cross the river, the gulf is fixed
Misery, suffering, eternal bliss
Hell, yeah! The fire burns, and its waiting there for you
Hell, yeah! You better turn 'cause there's nothing you can do
I will fear no evil, I will conquer all the demons
I will hear no evil, I will conquer all the beasts
I will speak no evil, I will conquer all the demons
I will see no evil, I will conquer all the beasts
Fear no evil
Fear no evil
Fear no evil
Fear no evil
I will fear no evil
I will fear no evil
I will fear no evil
I will fear no evil
(Do you fear evil?)
The song Fear No Evil by Impellitteri conveys a powerful message about facing one's fears in the face of evil. The lyrics open with a depiction of a rich man looking down his nose at someone who is being abused, highlighting the contrast between the haves and have-nots in society. The chorus of the song, with the refrain 'Hell, yeah! The fire burns, and it's waiting there for you, Hell, yeah! You better learn 'cause there's nothing you can do', speaks to the inevitability of facing the consequences of one's actions, no matter how wealthy or powerful they may be. The second verse highlights the concept of the Lazarus syndrome, where one is suffering from a debilitating condition in the face of overwhelming odds.
The song concludes with a message of hope and resilience, with the singer declaring that they will fear no evil and will conquer all the demons and beasts. In doing so, the song encourages listeners to look within themselves, to face their fears, and to trust in their ability to overcome whatever adversity may come their way.
Overall, the lyrics of Fear No Evil are a powerful articulation of the human struggle against evil and the capacity for resilience and hope, even in the face of overwhelming odds.
