Twist and limbo
Twist twist and limbo
Twist and limbo
Have you ever been to Jamaica
Originated from there was the maker
Of a dance I'm sure we all know
So everybody let's
Twist twist and limbo,
For this everybody know
Yeah mama c'mon and
Twist twist and limbo,
For this everybody know
Twist and limbo
Twist twist and limbo
Twist and limbo
Twist twist and limbo
Now everyone in the USA (twist and limbo)
They were all twisting the time away (twist and limbo)
Now I'm not saying that the twist should go (twist and limbo)
But we should twist with the new limbo
So everybody let's
Twist twist and limbo,
For this everybody know
Yeah mama c'mon and
Twist twist and limbo,
For this everybody know
Twist and limbo
Twist twist and limbo
Twist and limbo
Twist ahhhhhhh yeah
Twist and limbo,
Twist and limbo,
Twist and limbo,
Twist and limbo
Twist twist and limbo
Twist and limbo
Twist twist and limbo
Now everyone in the USA (twist and limbo)
They were all twisting the time away (twist and limbo)
Now I'm not saying that the twist should go (twist and limbo)
But we should twist with the new limbo
So everybody let's
Twist twist and limbo,
For this everybody know
Yeah mama c'mon and
Twist twist and limbo,
For this everybody know
Twist and limbo
Twist twist and limbo, come now
Twist and limbo
Twist twist and limbo
The Impressions' song "Twist And Limbo" embodies the excitement of experiencing new dances and the desire to partake in their cultural significance. The song is a hybrid of two popular dance styles that originated in Jamaica and the USA. The dance in question is called the Limbo which was created in Jamaica, and the other dance being the Twist, which gained immense popularity in the USA during the early 1960s.
The song's lyrics not only instruct us to dance but also provide a brief history lesson. The dance style, Limbo, is an essential part of Jamaican culture, and it is celebrated across the globe. The Impressions urge listeners to join in the fun and perform the twist and the Limbo, which is an exciting fusion of two distinct cultural dances. The message is that while we should embrace new cultures, we should also honor our traditions and blend them in with the new fun and exciting ones.
To sum up, Twist and Limbo are upbeat and joyous tunes celebrating cultural exchange and the unity that dance brings to people of all ages and backgrounds. The Impressions want their listeners to join them in the celebration of diverse cultures and encourage everyone to learn about each other's traditions and be accepting of them.

What a great song! Was this the flip of "Its Allright"?
@ioxxd90
The flip to "It's Alright" is "You'll Want Me Back". I think this is the flip to "Sad, Sad Girl & Boy". I have that on the 45. I actually posted "Sad girl & Boy" but U TOOB deleted it.
