inc. began as Teen Inc. and debuted in 2010 with a self-released 7" single, "Fountains"/"Friends of the Night" That same year, the Aged brothers featured on Nite Jewel's title song for her Am I Real? EP. After dropping "Teen" from their name, the brothers signed to 4AD, where they released a three-track EP, 3, in 2011.
Their debut album,"No World", was written, recorded and mixed in the winter of 2011 and released on 19 February 2013.

The lyrics to Inc.'s song "Angel" are actually from a traditional Mexican nursery rhyme called "La Gallina Ponedora" and have been re-imagined into a more modern arrangement. The lyrics translate to "My parrot is burning in the middle of the house. They caught the volunteer with their hands in the dough. My parrot is burning. A firefighter climbed up to the roof while the parrot is nervously eating feed. Oh how beautiful the bombs are, pour water on the little parrot with the syringe. My parrot has been burned purely from gossip."
Though the lyrics may seem nonsensical, they actually carry a deep political and social commentary. The volunteer with "hands in the dough" represents corruption, while the burning parrot symbolizes the destructive consequences of greed and deceit. The line about the beautiful bombs is a commentary on the glorification of violence in both media and politics. Finally, the last line about the parrot being burned from gossip speaks to the power of rumors and lies in our society.
