Hate
Incarnate Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The blackness tearing at my guts
I've tried so hard to master to tame myself
Untamed being no control or purpose yet
I need a Djinn to guide my rage

He comes

In my dreams I hear him, a dweller between the worlds
An ancient evil force unleashed by my desires
He is my master and so I am his
For me are as the same, born of the same shit

He and I are one, our desires must be sated
My lust for her flesh with his thirst for my soul
Her neck in my hands, I am given the strength to rape
I wish, I wish, I wish, I wish

He comes

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Incarnate's song "Hate" portray a dark and disturbing image of a person who is struggling to control their inner demons. The singer describes a feeling of "blackness" that is tearing at their guts, and how they have tried to tame themselves but to no avail. They see themselves as an untamed being with no control or purpose, and long for something or someone to guide their rage. This is where the concept of the Djinn comes in.

In Islamic mythology, a Djinn is a supernatural creature that is capable of granting wishes, but often at a great cost. The singer in the song calls out for a Djinn to guide their rage, and it seems as if their wish is answered. They hear the Djinn in their dreams, and describe it as an "ancient evil force" that has been unleashed by their desires. The singer sees themselves as the Djinn's master, but also as being born of the same "shit" as the Djinn, implying a sense of shared darkness and malevolence.

The second half of the song takes an even darker turn, as the singer describes how the Djinn gives them the strength to satisfy their violent desires. The singer's lust for a woman's flesh is coupled with the Djinn's thirst for their soul, and the two become one in their pursuit of pleasure and destruction. The final line of the song is a chilling repetition of "He comes", suggesting that this dark cycle is set to continue.

Overall, the lyrics to "Hate" paint a vivid and disturbing picture of a person who is consumed by their own darkness and desires, and who seeks out a supernatural entity to help them act on those impulses.

emolookinass

just letting y’all know, there’s an option in gameplay settings where u can melee with left click if u have the melee out, it’s better than E for my fingers lol

Unblemished

This is true, but be aware that if you are priming with your secondary, you have to switch manually to your primer, which can be annoying for some people. Depending on if you do prime in general or not, this is a good solution. I'm switching back and forth with that setting depending on what kind of weapon I play.

@Bliss you don't have to switch, you can just aim
