2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Fearless
Incognito Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Sometimes I'm afraid when you come home
Underneath it all
I think I'm afraid when there's nothing wrong
But if I was fearless
Could I be your reckless friend?
And if I was helpless
Could you be the one comes rushing in?
When I find myself slipping off
Of my pedestal
I'm a fierce believer afraid to fall
But if I was fearless
Could I be your reckless friend?
And if I was helpless
Could you be the one comes rushing in?
Sometimes I'm afraid of the dark
I can't find the light in my heart
I can see my hand
Pushing away from me, hard as I can
If I was fearless
Could I be your reckless friend?
And if I was helpless
Could you be the one comes rushing in?
Sometimes I'm afraid when you go
The lyrics to Incognito's "Fearless" delve into the vulnerabilities that come with being in a relationship; the fear of being abandoned or left alone, the fear of not being enough or being too much, and the fear of losing control. The singer admits to being afraid even when there is nothing to be afraid of, suggesting that the fear is coming from within rather than external factors. The chorus asks the question, "If I was fearless, could I be your reckless friend? And if I was helpless, could you be the one who comes rushing in?" This speaks to the idea that being fearless means being able to take risks and trust someone else to be there for you when you need them.
The second verse reveals another layer of fear; the fear of not being perfect. The singer admits to being a "fierce believer" but also afraid to fall off their "pedestal." This suggests that they may have high standards for themselves and fear not living up to those standards. The bridge adds a physical element to the fear, admitting to being afraid of the dark and pushing away from others.
Overall, the lyrics of "Fearless" explore the complex emotions that come with being in a relationship and the idea of trust and vulnerability. The singer wants to know if, in their most vulnerable state, the other person would still be there for them.
