2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Promise You The Moon
Incognito Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You gave me a fever
Hypnotized under your spell
Caught in a rapture
There's no use in denyin'
That much is true
There's no other way to say it
[Chorus]
Whatever you desire
Child?
I give my all to you
Tell me what you desire
Oh child?
I promise you the moon
Late at night with Quincy and Gershwin
It's stronger than ever
This feeling inside
When you're holdin' me baby
So what's the use in denyin'
You know that it is true
There's no other way to say it (No)
I love for you (Only you)
[Chorus]
There's no use in denyin'
I'd die for you
The lyrics to Incognito's song "Promise You The Moon" are about being deeply in love and willing to do anything for your partner. The song starts with the simile "shining like the noon day sun," indicating that the subject of the song is radiant and captivating. The second line, "you gave me a fever," implies that this person has had an intense effect on the singer, increasing their passion and desire. The description of being "hypnotized under your spell" emphasizes the hold that this person has over the singer, as though they have been enchanted.
The chorus of the song is a promise of devotion, with the repeated question "whatever you desire, child?" highlighting the singer's willingness to meet their partner's every need. The line "I promise you the moon" is a hyperbole, indicating that the singer would give anything to make their partner happy. The second verse of the song references two legendary musicians, Quincy Jones and George Gershwin, suggesting that the feelings being expressed are timeless and eternal.
The lyrics continue with the singer admitting that "there's no use in denying" their emotions, as the truth and power of their love cannot be denied. They express their love as being for one person only, using the line "I love for you (only you)" to emphasize that their devotion is exclusive. The final line "I'd die for you" leaves no doubt as to the depth of the singer's commitment, suggesting that they would do anything to protect and care for their partner.
