2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100Β° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Incognito Lyrics

Over pyramids at Giza
Where there once lived a girl
She ruled the world
Then down the nile
He came with a smile
He was the king
She was the queen
Your eyes won't believe
What your mind can't concieve
Oooh
Nights over Egypt
Nights over Egypt
Nights over Egypt
Incense and myrrh
And girls that swirl
To the music
Nights over Egypt
Women fellahin
Wear veils to been seen
By no one
Take a caravan across
The sudan
Saharan fagade
Is just a mirage
Oasis in the sand
Where life once began
Under the moonlight
Your eyes won't believe
What your mind can't concieve
Nights over Egypt
Nights over Egypt
Nights over Egypt
Nights over Egypt
The song "Pyramids" by Incognito dives into the mysteries and allure of Egypt, particularly focusing on the romanticized notions of royalty and freedom under the moonlight. The first verse sets the scene of the Giza pyramids and introduces a girl who once ruled the world. The following line introduces a king who arrived with a smile, who suggests a possible romantic dynamic between the two. The chorus repeats the phrase, "Nights over Egypt," emphasizing the captivating nature of the location. The second verse shifts focus to the women of Egypt and their attire, specifically the veils they wear as a means of being seen by no one. The idea of a caravan traveling across Sudan creates an image of movement and adventure, while the phrase "Saharan facade is just a mirage" alludes to the complexity and deception of the location. The line "where life once began" brings a sense of history and depth to the song, reminding listeners of the importance of Egypt and its contributions to humanity.
Overall, "Pyramids" conveys the allure and mystery of Egypt, highlighting its beauty as well as its hidden complexities. The lyrics promote a sense of freedom and adventure, while also acknowledging the history and significance of the location.
