2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

We Got Music
Incognito Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Life is just a roller coaster
Wheel me in wheel me out
It's all right
To keep in touch
All I need is love and music
To keep me satisfied I use it
We're gonna dance until we're all in a trance
We're gonna boogie to the Taste of Honey
Tonight the world is alright
We got music, music, music
We're gonna dance into a trance
We're gonna boogie from night to daylight
And now the feeling's all right
We got music, music, music
No it don't mean much
If life is doin' nothin' for ya
Day in and day out
Nothin' feels right
To keep in touch
All you need is love and music
To keep you satisfied please use it
Gotta let the love and music take you there
We're gonna dance until we're all in a trance
We're gonna boogie to the Taste of Honey
Tonight the world is alright
We got music, music, music
We're gonna dance into a trance
We're gonna boogie from night to daylight
And now the feeling's all right
We got music, music, music
The lyrics of Incognito's "We Got Music" express a sentiment of how music and love can be the perfect remedy for life's pressures and difficulties. The song begins by acknowledging that the ups and downs of life are akin to a rollercoaster ride. However, it assures us that with a little bit of love and music, everything will be alright. The tone is upbeat and determined, with a message of encouragement. The song speaks about how music can satisfy and uplift our spirits, and that all we really need is love and music to keep us going. The lyrics say that music can transport us and make us dance until we're lost in a trance. It suggests that the simple pleasures that music provides can set our hearts alight and lift us up.
The lyrics also offer a sense of communal spirit, with an invitation to dance along and enjoy the music with others. The Taste of Honey is referenced, a popular disco band from the late '70s era, known for their hits like "Boogie Oogie Oogie." The lyrics' message when inviting to boogie to the rhythm of the old tunes underlines that music is timeless and can bring people together, regardless of era. Incognito's "We Got Music" encourages the listener to forget their worries, dance all night long, and let the music take us away to a place free from concerns.
Overall, "We Got Music" has an affirmative sentiment, guiding the audience to the path of happiness and togetherness through the power of music and love.
