1) INDEX were formed in early 1966 in Grosse Point, Michigan. In '66 drummer Jim Valice (17 years old) met Gary Francis. Jim played in a garage band, and Gary played another band. One day they had a jam session with one more cool guitarist John B. Ford. Their first jam was exciting, the sound was full and powerful with John's technical guitar playing. In early '67 the band played 'Johnny B. Good' and 'Mustang Sally'. At the time Gary didn't have his own bass. Jim and John bought a violin shaped bass for Gary as present. They became a party band, playing at a pool, and in the living room, in the summer. They covered Chuck Berry, Animals, and played their original songs. At the time the band was called Chicken Every Sunday. One afternoon after a session, they decided to change the name. John went over to a book shelf, and said taking a book "Let's make the name from what ever page falls open!". He tossed the book to the floor. The band changed their name to the INDEX.
2) Index started as a trio with Eric Chamberlain, Kurt Luette and Cody Cast. After 3 years, Index has now become a solo effort fronted by Eric. Officially changed name to Index AI.
3) "IndeX" is a Dutch Reggae-band, located the southern town of Venlo, and counts a handful of members. Their name, "IndeX", already exists since the year 2000. In the early beginning, the band started as a punk-band, but nowadays they make music especially based on reggae, with many influences from other styles, such as punk, funk, ska and dub.
"A modern interpretation of the real old-school dub-reggae from Jamaica"
4) Czech hip-hop project.
5) Russian electronic/rave act, based in Saint-Petersburg
6) Brazilian progressive rock band.

a path of imagery straight back to the words you uttered
where will you direct me? to your exit?
out,
beyond the sphere of devotion
near sleep's ocean
what was once cherished has now perished
but something keeps the thought alive
[CHORUS:]
WHERE-I'm not there
ARE-You're not here
YOU-You're somewhere
NOW-Not in tears
Not in tears (x2)
You're not here
Do you remember the day you just ran away?
I started to wish but didn't know what to say
A different time, another place,
A familiar touch but a separate face
In the snow above air lane
Eyes closed
A silent voice but the emotion is exposed
Another moment in another day
Your only picture starts to fade away
Now we look back with regret
What did you see in me? A lack of hope and loyalty?
Mirrored lies, reflections lie shattered at your feet
Shattered in your mind
CHORUS
Not in tears
You're somewhere
Not in tears
You're somewhere
Use your muse (x2)
CHORUS (x2)
Where are you now?
Not in tears
Where are you now?
now?
The lyrics of Index's song "Where" depict the feelings of a person who is trying to come to terms with a lost relationship. The person seems to be struggling to understand why their significant other left them and is looking for answers. They express their confusion and hopelessness through vivid imagery, such as "near sleep's ocean" and "out, beyond the sphere of devotion." Despite the negativity of the situation, the person still holds onto hope, as "something keeps the thought alive."
The chorus of the song emphasizes the distance between the two people, both physically and emotionally. The repetition of "Where-I'm not there, Are-you're not here" highlights the separation and isolation that the person feels. However, the last line of the chorus, "Now-not in tears," suggests that the person has come to accept the situation and is no longer crying.
In the second verse, the person remembers a specific event - the day their partner left them. They express regret for not speaking up and expressing their feelings, wondering if things could have been different. They also question what their partner saw in them, suggesting that they may have been the cause of the breakup.
Overall, the lyrics of "Where" depict a person struggling to come to terms with a lost relationship, grappling with regret and confusion while also holding onto hope for the future.
