Small Moves
Infected Mushroom Lyrics

Anybody out there?
Small moves, Ellie, small moves.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Infected Mushroom's song Small Moves are short and simple, but they carry a profound meaning. The first line, "Anybody out there?" is a plea for connection and an acknowledgement of the universal human experience of feeling isolated at times. The second line, "Small moves, Ellie, small moves", appears to be a reference to the character Ellie Sattler in the movie Jurassic Park. In the film, Ellie is instructed to make small movements by the character Dr. Grant to avoid drawing the attention of dangerous dinosaurs.

The lyrics can be interpreted as a message of hope and resilience in the face of adversity. They suggest that even in the most challenging of circumstances, taking small steps towards a goal can still yield progress. The use of the name "Ellie" in the second line is particularly interesting - it personalizes the message and can serve as a reminder that even fictional characters face obstacles and overcome them through perseverance.

I was lying last time. These songs are not incredible. They're so indescribably good that there's no word that can describe just how good these songs are! I can't believe that this was released in 1999! It's such a heavy banger released so early that its existence should be impossible. But infected mushroom is so good that they can always create masterpieces regardless of how early they are in their career.
