In February 2004, Ingrid was nominated along with various Christian artists such as Patty Cabrera, Julissa, Annette Moreno and Maria del Sol among others, “Premios Nuestra Musica” (Our Music Awards). The Awards took place in California. She was awarded “Best Female Vocalist”. she was also nominated as “Best Female Vocalist” in March 2004 “Premios La Conquista” (The Conquering Awards). Shortly in April Ingrid was nominated once more for the “Dove Award” through her recording “Exitos de Hoy” (Today’s Hits) from Word Music.
Ingrid, of Colombian and Dominican descendants, possesses a particular interpretative quality. One of her greatest attributes is not only to sing with her own voice, but with her heart. She enjoys sharing her music all over the world as she fulfills God’s purpose in her life, but her greatest joy is seeing the people come to the Lord and come into His presence through worship. This is where true miracles happen. She currently resides in Miami, Florida along with her husband, Anthony Lopez and attends Trinity Church with Pastor Rich and Robyn Wilkerson.
