1. Invertigo were an Australian four-piece pop/rock group active in the early 2000s.
Its members were Christian Argenti as well as brothers Gerry Leigh ( Gerome William Leigh, James Leigh and Vince Leigh (the latter two of which were former members of Pseudo Echo).
The three Leigh brothers, however, found vocalist Christian Argenti as their new lead singer and reformed with the slightly different name of Invertigo in 2000. The June 2000 single "Desensitised", which they performed on the variety show Russell Gilbert Live, signalled a return to the charts. 2001 saw the release of another single, "Chances Are", in February 2001, and soon after, their debut album Forum in July. Since their only album, the band's current whereabouts is unknown.
Originally formed as Vertigo in 1996, they released the single "Forever Lately" in 1997 which became an Australian radio hit. The Vertigo lineup consisted of lead singer Hugh Wilson as well as the three Leigh brothers. Following the departure of their lead singer in 1999, Invertigo disbanded.
2. InVertigo (Ger)
Sebastian Brennert - Vocals, Keys
Matthias Hommel - Bass
Carsten Dannert - Drums

InVertigo - this means a blend of art rock and fine neo-prog, situated somewhere between complexity and catchiness, epic structures and radio affinity, 11/8 and 4/4. InVertigo's songs mirror influences by progressive rock bands such as Genesis, Yes, Spock's Beard, Marillion, The Flower Kings or Porcupine Tree - but do sound completely different.
Symphonic compositions, multilayered arrangements, variations of key, tempo and rhythm, constant changes and surprising twists make up their songs. And yet: InVertigo make sure the songs' musical content prevails. Even though the compositions are usually quite long, the song itself and demanding but catchy melodies are the primary focus.
With their 2010 debut, 'Next Stop Vertigo', the five musicians from Germany's Ruhr area delivered a multifaceted modern prog rock album: the tight atmosphere and tension of songs such as the opening track, 'Vertigo', or the multi-layered 'The Night', put listeners under their spell at once. While 'Take Your Time' and 'Night On Broadway' offer a clear invitation to rock and roll, 'Saturday Evening' and the mini-musical-esque 'Special' are beautifully arranged longtracks that bear anthem qualities. The album was overwhelmingly well received by fans and critics worldwide and its first pressing sold out within less than 12 months' time.
Shortly after the release of 'Next Stop Vertigo', the band continued writing new songs and performing them live – either supporting progressive rock favourites such as Sylvan, Pure Reason Revolution, Fish or as guests to the renowned UK progressive rock festival Summer's End in 2011.
2012 sees the release of 'Veritas', an album full of prog rock gems such as the mysterious 'Darkness', the catchy but demanding 'Lullaby' – a song that's definitely not going to make anyone fall asleep! - the humorous but oh so true 'Dr. Ho' as well as two longtracks that are designed to leave you breathless: 'Suspicion' and the even more epic 'Memoirs of a Mayfly'.

Invertigo Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
What I had to loose
Then I, I? d shed my skin
Give myself for anything you wanted me to do
Who can guess what stars predict?
When you are least expecting it
Don't give up on me yet
What I? d done before
Then I, I would disarm
Lose myself to anything that you are asking for
Who can guess what life will bring?
When you agree to let me in
Who knows what I could be?
If I, if I could have you
Don't give up on me when I've hit the wall
Don't give up on me when this could be all behind me
Who can guess what stars predict?
When you are least expecting it
Don't give up on me yet
If I, if I could give you faith in me, no matter what
What I had to loose
If I, if I could have you
If I, if I could have you
The song If I by Invertigo speaks of a desire to have someone's trust and faith in the singer no matter what, even if he has stumbled before. The lyrics express a willingness to give up anything and be anything for the person he desires, hoping that they won't give up on him just yet. The first verse talks about shedding his skin and giving up what he has to lose if that's what it takes to win their faith. The second verse talks about disarming and losing himself to the person, agreeing to anything they might ask of him. The final lines repeat the same sentiments, hoping that they won't give up on him when he's hit the wall, and that he could have that person if he could gain their faith.
The lyrics of the song are relatable and can speak to anyone who has ever wanted to win someone's trust and faith, to the extent that they're willing to give up who they are and be anyone the person desires. It talks about the struggle of wanting someone so much that you're willing to change yourself for them, hoping that they won't give up on you before you can prove your worth. The song carries a longing theme throughout it, capturing a sense of yearning for the person that the singer desires.

WOW, That's amazing and very interesting.
I have Hugh Blood Pressure as well, I agree there may be a connection.
After your DR changed your BP meds did it go away forever ?????
I wonder what would happen if I just stopped taking my BP meds.
I'm really tempted because I had always had Low BP ten approximately
10 or 12 year's ago I had a horrific chest pain, I was alone and when it wouldn't stop after about 15mins I feared I was going to pass out alone so the first time in my life I called an Ambulance, when they checked my
BP It was off the charts, they immediately gave meba mouth full
of Aspirin and hand full of Nitro and several injections of Morphine.
Nothing was helping, we got to the ER and they worked on me all day trying to get my BP down and stop the pain, I got Morphine every 30 mins but it was no help, finally the nurse whispered she was giving me a pain med that was 10 times stronger than Morphine, whatever it was was working and little by little my BP was coming down, they never gave me the reason forbwhat caused the whole thing but I was put on BP meds and it was only a year or two when the Vertigo started, at first i was intermittent and only 4 or 5 times a year then one day 7 year's ago that attack never went away.
Thanks so much for sharing, I'm going to think seriously on this

I have vertigo too, for many years now, attacks come on and off. I used to have sinusitis too, which probably triggered it. I've read a lot about causes and what triggers these attacks. For me, it was stress, black coffee, lack of adequate drinking water, too much time working in front of a computer. I'd like to share about what is helping me deal with my vertigo attacks: exercises that help, like lying on a bed, and turning your head to the left while your eyes look to the right and vice versa. Avoid getting up suddenly from the bed, after you wake up. Also, make sure you sleep with your head elevated with pillows, but never on a flat bed or surface. Drinking Ginger tea, having Apple cider vinegar with honey in warm water 3 times a week, taking warm showers, avoid having too much coffee, make sure you have the correct posture while sitting before a computer, stay hydrated, have your eyes checked if you have vision problems, and best of all, take time out to relax, go on long walks, bask in warm sunshine, listen to music, indulge in your favorite hobby, stay positive at all times...Unless it's really required, visit your doctor for medication or treatment. Hope these tips help someone atleast 😊 🙏, I understand the fear and anxiety that most people may have when these attacks occur. Stay blessed. Love from India 🇮🇳

My Vertigo was off and on now and again but 6 year's ago it became 24/7 whenever I'm standing and walking.
It's preventing me from doing most anything without pre-planning my every step.
I can drive without any problems, the vertigo begins when my back isn't supported
