@The Lenard Journey oh god that’s long sorry basically to sum it up I report it now. When I was barely entering the work force though wouldn’t report it and just suffer. I didn’t feel I had a voice then so I allowed it to continue. I don’t report every instance though bc I understand the differences in each situation. When it’s blatant I would just tell my supervisor and have it fixed. The law is on my side, so it’s a very easy fix.

It would be stupid to say it wasn’t especially with the history of how women were treated in the U.S. Anyways when I was younger and first started working I wouldn’t say anything bc you don’t feel like you have a voice. It sucks bc men would prey on me when I was young and put me in uncomfortable positions knowing I felt helpless. So that definitely sucked and when you’re a young worker they should educate you on your rights more. When it comes to customers though there’s very little you can do because it’s such a short amount of time that you interact. Under the law though you should still report it to the supervisors. I would but to report every sexist customer is... exhausting and not worth it. On the other hand for coworkers I would just report it to my manager so it can be fixed appropriately. There’s no reason for me to try and educate them that’s definitely not my job. After reporting it it gets fixed pretty easily because they can get fired for it. If I could go back in time when I first entered the work force I would say have zero tolerance for that crap bc the law is on your side. Not saying every guy who does it should get fired right away but it should be reprimanded and fixed immediately.

To suggest that I’m going to change jobs every time I have a sexist encounter is stupid and unrealistic. Reporting it through the proper channels usually takes care of it though because in the workplace it’s highly illegal. Also idk how in your twisted head thought I said all men do that. I said 50% of the population is men so avoiding sexism is impossible. Not because every man is sexist, but because literally so many men in the workforce it’s impossible to have zero encounters of it. To put it even simpler for you many men= many opportunities for it to happen. I didn’t think I’d have to break that simple statistic down but here we are...

I'm torn. It's a double edge sword. She ruined the best thing in her life, over nothing and thay does make me feel for her. That being said, it was all her doing. Yes, she had an outburst thay you can attribute to her mental illness, but had it just been that, it would have been resolved. I lost the pity after months and months of doubling down on her mistakes and taking everything to an extreme place full of lies.

I miss it until I realize how much of a strain Trisha was in his life. She is SO actually toxic and has done more horrible things than good things and that isn’t a healthy friendship. Trisha was manipulative, gaslighting, mean asf insulting not only Ethan ( for no reason 90% of the time ) but his fam and wife, played victim ALWAYS and blamed everything on him ( a form of gaslighting ), and much more toxic awful ass things. I’m coming back after months after Frenemies ended and it really sucks to see how happy Trisha was and how they let their shit get in between a genuine and safe friendship. What Ethan offered her was clearly the best thing that happened to them. Friends like him are SO rare. I know right she literally contradicts herself so much. And it’s not even in just other videos she contradicts herself within the same video she can contradict yourself it’s insane. And of course because I’m a watch or I can see the conversation flow the way it actually dies and it just completely goes over Ethan‘s head whenever she lies. I think the breakdown of this specific show kinda played a small role in a lot of people having the balls to come back full tilt, to be honest. It's all just mind boggling...and sad.

@soph ia plus Jason never really seemed to be held accountable other than maybe a few harsh words and a minimal “slap on the wrist” figuratively speaking. Which is screwed up because Jason is an ADULT, like a grown, foot in the grave, adult. With children. If David put on a mask and made out with Jason’s son, he would be ready to wring David’s neck. But I guess Seth isn’t important enough for anyone to care. Seth went through a really dark time after all this happened, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t come out the other end of this as nothing more than a shell of the person he used to be. Not to mention, if you’re a male victim of sexual assault from another man and a member of the black community, it can be even more isolating. Homophobia within the black community can have a trickle down effect to people like Seth who are straight but victimized by another male, which can just turn his trauma into a joke, and he’s the butt of it. The black community is just a little behind in accepting the seriousness of male sexual assault victims ESPECIALLY at the hands of another male. I pray that Seth is healing and that the damage to his mental health isn’t too severe or irreparable.

@soph ia I’m not sure, I haven’t looked into it. But either way, just the fact that David always bounces back, that must be painful for Seth to watch. He scarred for life, but his trauma is “old news” now. It seems like every other victim of David and VS has received more support and/or concern than Seth. Doms victims (also victims of David), Jeff, people lost their minds over what happened to them, and Seth had to fight to get anyone to even care or believe what happened to him, and Seth is such a sweetheart. To have being a victim of sexual assault become your “legacy” on the internet, especially as a male, that’s something that’s going to follow and haunt him probably forever. but I’m sure David never even thinks about it. Seth is a gem, he’s too good for the VS and I just hate that they chewed him up and spit him out. He never received any love or respect from David and co. All he ever got was pranked and used and discarded.

I love Trisha's honesty about her thoughts, most people think these things and won't admit them. At least she does. She never tries to be something she isn't even when she trolls to climb up the ladder she's telling you she's done it before. And homegirl made it up the ladder. Maybe not SNL but she has her independence. She's still figuring herself and her illness out while living with it and as a person she is entertaining. The process is great to watch. Kinda uplifting in an unexpected way. (Not just her process but seeing Ethans support and their friendship blossom) Ethan is such an amazing balance for her and he is funny as fuck. I try to stay far far away from social media because of how toxic, superficial and just maliciously narcissistic the culture is and the drama is just all so stupid but I actually love this podcast. My teenage sister started watching this then we started watching it together and now I don't miss an episode. It's a good break in all the chaos. From what I've learned, Ethan is probably the most chill down to earth person on this realm of the youtube platform. Ethan and his wife are wholesome I wish this podcast the best. Never stop
