J.Länsimäki & Riisuttu Morsian soittaa rehellistä suomalaista rokkia. Pohjanmaalaiset jätkät Janne Länsimäki (laulu, kitara), Samu Laurila (kitara), Juha-Matti Länsimäki (basso) ja Jukka Sandberg (rummut) menevät rouhealla soitollaan suoraan asiaan ja jättävät hienostelut muille. Miten tähän päädyttiin?
J.Länsimäki & Riisuttu Morsian tuli esiin syksyllä 2006, mutta sen juuret ulottuvat vuoteen 2002, jolloin Janne ja Samu aloittivat cover-biisien soittamisen akustisena duona nimellä Tolstoi. Musiikillinen innoitus tuli tuolloin mm. bluesista ja Sir Elwoodin biiseistä, joita kaksikko soitti myös keikoilla.
Janne ja Samu marssivat Gömmel-äänittämöön heinäkuussa 2003 ja taltioivat kolme omaa biisiä Liian kauan aikaa / Hämärään / Hei tyttö. Musiikkityyli oli rock-vivahteisen popin ja iskelmän välillä. Biiseihin äänitettiin akustisten kitaroiden lisäksi Jannen toimesta sähkökitaraa, rummut sekä basso. Demo sai lähialueen kansan kiinnostumaan ja oli selvää, että duon oli laajennuttava kokonaiseksi bändiksi.
Vuoden 2004 aikana Janne ja Samu metsästivät muusikoita, jatkoivat keikkailua duona sekä tekivät lisää biisejä. Vakituisten soittajien puuttuessa, duo lainasi studiosessioon rumpalin (Jukka Sandberg) ja basistin (Jarno Samppala) 6.kerros -bändiltä. Viiden biisin Haavekuva-demo äänitettiin tutussa Gömmel-äänittämössä maaliskuussa 2005. Biisimateriaali oli kehittynyt selkeästi enemmän rockin suuntaan. Levyllä olivat biisit: Haavekuva / Päivät seuraa toisiaan / Annatko rakastaa / Kaukana / Suzie. Rumpali Sandberg innostui studiosessioissa uusista biiseistä ja päätti liittyä bändiin. Demo sai pienen fanikunnan keskuudessa hyvän vastaanoton, mutta levy-yhtiöt eivät vielä tarttuneet siihen.
Kunnon rokkia oli päästävä veivaamaan myös keikoille, joten vakituinen bassotaiteilija oli löydettävä. Ratkaisu löytyi yllättäen hyvinkin läheltä, sillä Jannen veli Juha-Matti oli soitellut hieman bassoa. Hänet kiinnitettiin kokeilumielessä miehistöön ja bändi oli valmis. Nimenä pidettiin edelleen Tolstoi.
Seuraavan vuoden kuluessa uutta biisimateriaalia kertyi satunnaisen keikkailun lomassa ja syksyllä 2006 bändi aloitti yhteistyön äänittäjä/tuottaja Jussi Järviniemen kanssa. Tällä kertaa haluttiin mennä askeleen pidemmälle. Uusia biisejä työstettiin rauhalliseen tahtiin Järviniemen studiolla, bändin ulkoasua kehitettiin ja nimi vaihdettiin tyyliin paremmin sopivaksi. Uudistusten myötä J.Länsimäki & Riisuttu Morsian astui askeleen kohti rajumpaa ilmaisua. Heinäkuussa 2007 julkaistun promolevyn neljä biisiä Kulkija / Vastatuuleen / Vihollinen / Levoton esittelivät bändin koko skaalan rokista akustisiin balladeihin.
J.Länsimäki & Riisuttu Morsian keikkailee tasaiseen tahtiin loppuvuonna 2007. Entistä rankempia uusia biisejä siintää jo horisontissa ja bändi on löytänyt oikean suuntansa.

Uma vez conheci um garoto, Conversar com ele era mágico, ele trazia a minha criança interior de voltar.
