Track 1
J.S.Boreliy Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Under rated, I'm the hottest that this city got
That goth boy just strolling through the city blocks
They're always bugging, never fucking with a city cop
Never trust a soul, say they are what they're really not
Under rated, I'm the hottest that this city got
That goth boy just strolling through the city blocks
They're always bugging, never fucking with a city cop
Never trust a soul, say they are what they're really not
Arizona iced tea with my hoodie cocked
Ounce in my sweats, always try and keep it fully stocked
Always saying what he's gonna do, I'm thinking should he not
Papers in my sleeve, give a fuck how a bully rock
I spent 22 years in a dark room
In my head, in my feelings, or watching cartoons
Spoke to God, he said the end is gonna start soon
Think I'm seeing the rapture but I don't do shrooms
So i can never be seen with you silly geese
All these little niggas out here acting like they really street
But if it's really peace
We can bust a Philly down
Only fucking with a shorty if she really down
Never feed the trolls or the sheep
Let them starve, let them sleep
We gonna spar, with the beast
When the dice roll
Night cold as ice
Take flight in the chilly snow
I know you've never seen hell cuz it really shows
I'm running up a Milli on this visa card
Shooting for the moon cuz its cloudy so we can't see the stars
Killing all my stress with a blunt, this shit got me breathing hard
Believe in God, I know he's there whether I see or not
Sit down and shut up I promise you gonna peep a lot
See I'm from a city where fourth graders'll keep a glock
Fuck shit'll get me popped, opps sending 50 shots
Jah is gonna let the smoke settle on forget-me-nots
Under rated, I'm the hottest that this city got
That goth boy just strolling through the city blocks
They're always bugging, never fucking with a city cop
Never trust a soul, say they are what they're really not
Under rated, I'm the hottest that this city got
That goth boy just strolling through the city blocks

They're always bugging, never fucking with a city cop
Never trust a soul, say they are what they're really not

Overall Meaning

In J.S. Boreliy’s “Track 1,” the rapper reflects on his life as well as his success in the music industry. He opens the song by stating that he has the “MJ disease” because other MC’s want to be him. Despite the pressure, he promises to only produce good music. He mentions how he is a unique individual, very different from everyone else making music. In addition, he refers to his city (possibly Compton, based on other verses in the song), which is full of genuine and tough people who are always ready to defend their own. He also talks about his love for money, and how he will do anything to get it. He ends the verse by reiterating that he is different and that people need to give him the respect he deserves.

In the second verse, J.S. Boreliy talks about how people attempt to bring him down, but he is not affected by their negativity. He mentions his wealth, how he invests his money, and how he travels around the world. Although he seems to be very wealthy, he does not show off his wealth like other people do. He is focused on his career and is constantly trying to expand his boundaries. He talks about how he faces racism when he is traveling, and how he is determined to prove to everyone that he deserves to be where he is today. The song ends with him telling the listener to spread peace if they ever end up in the Maldives.
