Jelani Hill (J. Hill) was born June 25th 1982 in Chicago, Illinois. Growing up in the vast diversified culture of Chicago Illinois molded J. Hill into the well rounded recording artist that he is today.

So deeply influenced by music and particularly the hip hop culture, J. Hill began recording songs at the age of 13. In college is where the goals were set, and the fire and ambition to succeed with his God given talent was realized. Hill recorded his first official mixtape “Sign me.. or else” in 2004, and in his first full EP “Now or Never” in 2007.

Currently J. Hill is working on a host of new projects, shows and entertainment ventures to come.

Upcoming projects include The Highly Anticipated LP “Mood Swingz” set to be completed in 2010, and also due out soon is another hot mixtape project entitled “This Will NOT Make Radio.. Vol 1” Set to be in internet rotation also in 2010.
