Streaming music for consumers is a utility like gas or electricity. You has an impossibly large selection to choose from, but as soon as you stop paying this is cut off. That is why I still buy digital downloads (CD quality or HD flac) or the physical CD. Of course, I pay more but it is this for me to keep.

14.000 (hab gerade Mal nachgeschaut bei Spotify ) monatliche Hörer ist halt mal überhaupt nichts. Zum Vergleich ein Künstler der seit 17 Jahren keine Musik gemacht hat und jetzt ein Album rausgebracht hat (Jack orsen von MOR Berlin ) : 18:000 monatliche Hörer. KIZ : 2 Million monatliche Hörer. Rammstein 7 Million.
Das ist doch mehr als lächerlich, dass ist als würde ein Youtuber mit 500 Abonnenten sich Beschwerden das er nicht davon leben kann. Sie hat halt einfach kaum Hörer und streams wtf

eine sache ist streaming und online presence, eine andere live gigs (wenn sie die halle ausferkauft hat ist das nicht schlecht). Klar muss man genug followers und streamers und fans haben um davon zu leben und viele musiker haben es noch nicht ganz verstanden wie essenziell online presence is (da kann man leider heutzutage nichts machen) weil sie mehr die low-exposure work-in-studio typen sind (klar dann hat mann auch das gegenteil - n schnell gemachter generischer song aber schon image, logo, webiste, alle social media accounts, pateron, cashapp und was noch alles ready) aber ein sehr grosser teil des einkommens wird von middlemen genommen - specially labels die es intentionally schwierig und kompliziert machen so dass sie die ganze kontrolle behalten, das ist eine richtige bizarre nightmare (apologies for my german grammar, havent used it for the last 15 years)
