Jaden hears people say that his group is next in line to become popular, but he doesn't believe in that. He is the second hottest artist right now, only behind the sun. He also identifies himself as a grunge and punk artist. Jaden and his gang are the hottest in the city, but people have been trying to come after him he gets upset when someone snitches about him to the night (police), as that could expose the gang. He claims he doesn't need money as he already has a music deal, and to make people realize the consequences, he declares that the city is the battlefield for his gang.

Jaden expresses insight that people's undesirable traits are natural and that one needs to be aware. Jaden argues that there is a story that has already been written about our local heroes, and we need to embrace it.

Jaden's friend informs him that they got ERYS the previous night, to which Jaden initially refuses to believe, but another friend confirms the death of ERYS. Jaden jokingly asks who is floating in the mountains and finds out that it is him. Everyone is surprised to see him like that, which means he is SYRE, who has returned.

Jaden feels the burn when he realizes that his love is with someone else and even has old pictures of them together, and he requests them to keep it to themselves. He declares that he doesn't need the other person's love, rather, he wants someone else whose mind isn't controlled by him. He wants someone who knows how to have fun without walking on his integrity. At the moment, he explodes in emotions as he feels far off the edge. He adds that his love doesn't need him but someone else.

Jaden is by himself, and the person who rejected his love starts wanting him back. However, he feels that they are never really interested in him and are not trying to be his partner. Jaden wants to wait until sunrise and let the world be alone. He wants to move in slow motion and relive the fun moments of the past like riding on the west side when there was snow on the ground and he threw up, as he fondly remembers it despite apologizing. Jaden confesses that he loves his girl.

Although she rejects his love, Jaden still feels like he is far away on the edge and repeats it but returns to the idea that he loves her.
