Childhood part of my life, it wasn't very pretty.
During my childhood, life was difficult and challenging.

You see, I was born and raised in the slums of the city,
I grew up in a poverty-stricken area of the city.

It was a one room shack that slept ten other children besides me.

We hardly had enough food or room to sleep.
There was a lack of sufficient food and space for us.

I left home, seekin' a job that I never did find,
I left home in search of employment but was unsuccessful.

Depressed and downhearted I took to cloud nine,
Feeling sad and discouraged, I turned to a state of bliss and happiness.

I'm doin' fine, up here on cloud nine.
I am doing well and content in this joyful state.

People from my past urge me to seize opportunities and not let life slip away.

But the world of reality is a rat race where only the strongest survive,
However, the real world is competitive, and only the most resilient individuals thrive.

It's a dog eat dog world, and that ain't no lie.
The world is a harsh and unforgiving place, and that is the truth.

Even walking outside at night is no longer safe.

Despite these challenges, I am still doing well and happy in my blissful state.
