In "Karma" by Jamie N Commons, the singer seems to be addressing someone who has wronged them in the past. The first verse describes a sense of foreboding, as though the singer can see something coming and knows that they can't avoid it. They can sense the lies and deception around them, and they know that the "angel of death" is on her way. The second verse is more confrontational, as the singer challenges their antagonist to face them directly. They accuse this person of having had a chance to let them die, and of now being unable to defend themselves against the singer's actions.
