Il sax la cita qui e là, forse proprio nei momenti migliori, quando prende il volo e si distacca brevemente dalla struttura solida del canto. Jan Garbarek & Chrisobel Morales - This piece of music is Heaven on Earth. What a delight to hear such a relaxing and joyous tune.
It is so heavenly is the only word I can use. A sheer delightful experience. I feel as though I’ve just floated upwards but in a good way. It’s on my playlist.

It's very hard to find a good sound mixed version of this now on you tube, as the sax is such a strong sound. It is meant to compliment the choir, not the choir compliment the sax. In any case, if either section switched roles, with this sound mix, the choir or the sax would be too loud for the other to mix in.

However, having said that, the piece itself is a lovely fusion. There are a couple of bars dotted throughout the piece that hits you right there yanno? :) Good stuff.

I agree, the official on the official album(which I own) is slightly more subtle and I prefer it by a tad, , but out of all of the other renditions on YouTube, I'd say this is one of the better ones,, they could of tried different acoustics perhaps,? Either way, ,

Ho l'Officium in versione originale, in CD, acquistata nell'anno 2000. Da allora non ho mai smesso di ascoltarla, riportandone una sensazione preziosa che non si è mai spenta in me. Ma questa vostra esecuzione, devo dire, non ha nulla da invidiare alla prima registrazione nel monastero austriaco di St.Gerold. Complimenti!
