Her modest success was ultimatley short-lived, but her biggest hit, "Don't Wanna Fall in Love", has found enduring status thanks to the Shep Pettibone remix which is often considered as one of the early '90s best Popular House records. Child is currently working on a new album, having been largely unsuccessful with obscure Japanese projects and movie soundtracks throughout the 1990s.
Jane Child resurfaced in the 2001 with her third album, "Surge." It included two single, "Almost Beautiful" and "Nice Day." While the album did not gain attention from the mainstream, it was touted as a welcome return by her supporters. While it was stated her fourth album was complete, there has yet to be a date set for its release.

All night, I think of you
Every waking hour
At night I dream about you
Thoughts of you keep running
Through my mind, you haunt me
Like a song I can't forget
I'm on a carousel
In endless circles
Always coming back to you
I wonder if you
Ever think about me too
(The more I tell myself to stop)
The more I tell myself
(The more I try to stop, I)
To stop, the more I do
(Tell myself it's getting to the)
It's getting to the point
(Point of no return, what can I do)
I know, what can I do
I live and breathe
And all I do is think of you
I live and breathe
And all I do is think of you
Yeah, yeah
When I close my eyes I
See your picture in my head
I feel your touch and taste
A thousand kisses
Open up a book to read
On every page I see
Your name in black and white
No matter how I try
It covers me like a blanket
Wrap myself in you
I hold it close
When it's cold outside
I'm warm in you
(The more I tell myself to stop)
The more I tell myself
(The more I try to stop, I)
To stop, the more I do
(Tell myself it's getting to the)
It's getting to the point
(Point of no return, what can I do)
I know, what can I do
I live and breathe
And all I do is think of you
I live and breathe
And all I do is think of you
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Baby, baby
Yeah
Time stood still
And I won't be the same
I can't go on like this
I'm calling out your name
What can I do
I live and breathe
And all I do is think of you
I live and breathe
And all I do is think of you
(All I do is think of you)
(All I do, all I do)
Yeah
All I do
(All I do, all I do)
All I do
(All I do, all I do)
Baby all I do
Is think of you
(All I do, all I do)
It's all I do
(All I do, all I do)
In my dreams at night
(All I do, all I do)
All I do
Oh, baby all I do
(All I do, all I do)
Oh
All I do is think of you
(All I do, all I do)
Yeah
All I do is think of you
(All I do, all I do)
Baby, all I do
(All I do is think of you)
All I do
(All I do, all I do
All I do is think of)
You
(All I do, all I do)
Baby, baby
All I do
(Is think of you)
Yeah, think of you
Think of you
Think, baby
All I do
(Is think of you)
All I do
All I do is think of you
All I do is think of you
All I do is think of you.
The song "All I Do" by Jane Child is a heartfelt expression of an individual's constant thoughts and dreams about another person. The song's lyrics convey that no matter what the singer does or where she goes, thoughts of this person are always on her mind, and she cannot seem to escape them. The imagery used in the lyrics, such as seeing the person's picture in her head and feeling their touch and taste, highlights the intensity of the singer's feelings. The repetition of the phrase "All I do" emphasizes the central theme of the song and intensifies its emotional impact, while the use of a carousel and a book as metaphors adds depth to the song's meaning.
The song's chorus further highlights the singer's struggle to let go of her feelings as she cannot help but obsess over this person, leading her to question whether they ever think of her too. The more she tries to stop thinking about them, the more she finds herself doing so, getting to the point of no return. The bridge's lyrics signify the extent of the singer's emotional turmoil, where she is calling out the person's name and cannot go on like this. The song's emotional depth and the use of metaphors make it relatable to anyone who has felt obsessively about someone else.

Jane Child is a goddess. I'm a die-hard metalhead, but I've loved her music since the debut album. Great writing, great musicianship, great vocals, great production...she's the real deal. Further proof that the majority of the music-buying public (and Warner Bros.) is moronic, as talent is rarely rewarded.

This was one of my favorite songs from my childhood. I use to play this on my ghetto blaster on a cassette tape back in the early 90's before I went to bed lol. Im 31 now and this still brings back good memories.

GTA has single-handedly introduced a generation to many of the awesome songs of the 80s.
