She has released four albums, Jane McDonald (which reached number 1 in the UK album charts, staying there for three weeks), Inspiration, Love at the Movies and You Belong to Me.

She has also presented the television programme, Star For A Night, which helped launch the singer Joss Stone. She is also a regular panellist for the shows, Loose Women and The Wright Stuff. She has also appeared on the reality shows, Have I Been Here Before and Drop the Celebrity. Jane also appeared in the Wicked Women concert and sang "This Is The Moment" from the Broadway musical Jekyll and Hyde.
