We have experienced similar natural disasters in the past and must use those lessons to inform our response

Buried with no caskets, they just put covers on them
Some who have passed away may not have had resources for traditional burials, and we must remember and honor them as well

And the tears fall, and we fight back
We are moved to tears by the suffering we witness, but also work to address and overcome the challenges

Story ain't done, it can't end like that
The story of the Haitian people is ongoing and we cannot allow tragedy to be their final chapter
