We move in silence
You niggas childish whoo
My niggas wildin'
We move in silence
Family stressing sleep cause I Don’t get enough of that
They say sleeps the cousin of Death and I can't take that nap
Plus these warrants on the mind Beside the dreams and fantasies
So demeanor in these streets low Key Mello Anthony
Out here like I'm part of the Porch doobies and double cups
Hit her with that flex then make Her cash them checks and double Up
Nod the plug pullin' up on me Serving that Thrax
Holding that Oscar the grouch Odor so stank think it was trash
All my partners on gas Citgo BP
And every one of them muh fuckers ready you trying to take It to the street
Don't promote violence but don't Test a G
You know we move in silence Keep an investment piece
We move in silence
You niggas childish whooo
My niggas wildin'
We move in silence
Normally let the beat talk but This time it can shut up
S on my chest needs to open up More
Cant keep it compressed the Need to express overpowers
Genuine need to rest I'm in Uproar
Time when Ima get mine
Reparation thoughts from my African brothers and sisters
We got so many missing black Market pay it no attention
Can't fail to mention They're Enlisting
Fighting cause the people aren't Comprehending
Let me extend more wisdom Word to vision
Push positivity through your Mission
Don't let 'em catch you slipping Its good riddance
Cause its bigger than you and Your city
There's a committee brewing ways to ruin gentrify and defile The next genny
Next generation pitty so silly eat Off every dinner plate given
Just because food is on table in Front of you doesn't mean its Necessary to dig in
Healthcare ain't gon talk about it Welfare ain't gon talk about it
FDA the governmental reign Trying to control the land we Aint gon talk about it
Liberators lost their life behind it
Global warmings not behind the Climate shift
After shift for the dime Uncle Sam ain't trying to put his tax Behind
So exquisite rhymes so refined Product of environment Overcome
Media imposes disrupts the focus Can't help but notice that's that
Keeping people nosey Complacent cozy just keep Composure stack racks

Most only in it for energy not for The synergy inner peace Contact

Overall Meaning

These lyrics speak to the theme of moving in silence and the struggles faced in everyday life. The opening lines acknowledge the immaturity of others, emphasizing a sense of being separate from that immaturity. The reference to "wildin'" suggests a rebellious attitude and freedom from societal constraints. The mention of family stress and lack of sleep indicates the singer's personal struggles, potentially due to legal issues and ambitions conflicting with rest. The line "sleep's the cousin of Death" suggests the fear of wasting time and missing out on opportunities.

The lyrics further portray a street-oriented lifestyle, with hints of drug references ("nod the plug") and a gritty atmosphere ("Oscar the Grouch"). The use of the term "low key Mello Anthony" adds a touch of casual coolness to the narrative. The mention of gas stations, like Citgo and BP, could imply a neighborhood or urban setting. The lyrics caution against testing the singer's crew and promote the idea of keeping a low profile while also securing financial investments.

The next verse takes a more philosophical turn, touching on various societal issues and injustices. The mention of reparations for African brothers and sisters indicates a desire for equality and justice. The line about missing black markets sheds light on the economic struggles within the black community and the lack of attention given to it. The mention of a committee brewing ways to ruin and gentrify the next generation highlights the ongoing threat of displacement and cultural erasure.

The lyrics also address larger issues like climate change and the power dynamics of the government. The reference to healthcare, welfare, and the FDA highlights the neglect and manipulation faced by marginalized communities. The lyrics critique media's influence and its tendency to distract and mislead. The call for maintaining composure, stacking wealth, and promoting the truth for the culture suggests a need for empowerment and unity within the community.

In the concluding lines, the lyrics touch on the superficiality of some individuals who only seek personal gain or energy without promoting collective harmony. The reference to inner peace through contact implies that true fulfillment comes from connections and shared experiences. Overall, these lyrics express the struggles and aspirations of the singer while addressing broader social and cultural issues faced by their community.

It wasn't released as a single. What were they thinking?

MG

That explains why I never heard of the song. Actually only heard Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie and Keep the Ball Rollin'. Love this song. Can't help but wonder what song is really playing for the dancers, this one fits so perfectly. I wonder where did this event take place.
