1) Jenny… Read Full Bio ↴There are at least two artists by the name of Jenny Morris.
1) Jenny Morris OAM is a New Zealand-born Australian pop, rock singer-songwriter. Began singing in the Wide-Mouthed Frogs in the late '70s. She joined The Crocodiles in 1980 and moved to Sydney, Australia, with that band in 1981. The Crocodiles disbanded soon after.
Morris released a number of solo singles as well as an album with QED. The latter produced three singles that were only minor successes in Australia. In 1985, Morris joined INXS as a backing singer for the Listen Like Thieves world tour, before releasing her first solo album (Body & Soul) in 1987. The disc was a success, selling over 70,000 copies in Australia (platinum status), and produced a number of hit singles, including "You I Know," written by Neil Finn.
Her second album, Shiver, consolidated her position as one of Australia's leading female singer/songwriters by selling over 250,000 copies, although her third disc (Break in the Weather) was a comparative flop, producing one hit single plus two others that missed the Top 40 completely. The Story So Far, a best-of compilation, was released in 1992, but the rest of the '90s saw little of note from Morris, apart from an album called Salvation Jane in 1995.
The appropriately titled single “Downtime” arrived in 2002 with the album Hit & Myth following later that year.
In January 2003, on Australia Day became an Australian citizen.
In 2004 Listen: The Very Best of Jenny Morris was released, with the Alive DVD landing in 2005. A year later, Clear Blue in Stormy Skies appeared, filled with acoustic versions of some of the singer’s most popular songs.
In January 2010, on Australia Day received Australian of the Year.
2) Jenny Morris, later to join the pop girl group Innosense in 1999, released a country album, Girl on the Run in 1997.

I like to think about it
Well thinkin's always better than the doin'
But in this case I'm pursu-uin'
I'd like to talk about actio-io-ion
Action, actio-ion
Wouldn't you like to show some inspiration
How can I get you to show me some inspiration
'Cause I think the time has co-ome
To show a little bit about yourse-elf
Don't you know you're a breeze to be near
And I just want to hear your side of the story
And I'm in need of a little favour
I want some action, actio-ion
Wouldn't you like to show some inspiration
Actio-ion, actio-ion
How can I get you to show me some inspiratio-ion
Boo-ba-de-do-ba-bow, boo-ba-de-do-ba-bow
Boo-ba-de-do-ba-bow, boo-ba-de-do-ba-bow

The song "Action" by Jenny Morris talks about the importance of taking action and showing inspiration, rather than just thinking or talking about doing something. Morris encourages the listener to step forward and take action in their life or in their relationship with her. She wants to hear the listener's side of the story and be inspired by their actions. Morris uses the repetition of "action" and "inspiration" to reinforce her message and create a catchy, upbeat rhythm.
The lyrics also show Morris's vulnerability and need for support from the listener. She asks for a little favor and wants the listener to show her some inspiration. She believes it's time for them to show a little bit about themselves and how they can add to the relationship. Overall, the song encourages taking action, being more active in relationships, and finding inspiration in one's life.

Seen Jenny live twice in Newcastle at the Palais Royale and The Workers Club. One of the best live shows I've seen.

Probably because they're the only ones you've seen, I mean, in general, when it comes to music...🤣🤣🤣
