Hands
Jewell Lyrics

it would be we're all ok
not to worry
cause worry is wastefull and useles
at times like these
wont be made useless
won't be idoled with despare
govern my self around my faith
my hands are small i know
but there not yours they are my own
but there not yours they are my own
and i am never broken
poverty
stole your golden shoes
it didnt steal your laughter
and heart ache came to visit me
but i knew it wasnt ever after
we'll fight
not out of spite
some one must end the world thats right
whether its a man
that has no voice
where our shadows see
my hands are small i know
but there not yours they are my own
but there not yours they are my own
and i am never broken
in the end only kindness matters
in the end only kindness matters
i will get down on my knees
and i will pray
i will get down on my knees
and i will pray
i will get down on my knees
and i will pray
my hand are small i know
but there not yours they are my own
but there not yours they are my own
and i am never broken
my hand are small i know
but there not yours they are my own
but there not yours they are my own
and i am never broken
we are never broken
we are god's hands
god's hands
god's hands
we are god's hands
god's hands
god's hands
we are god's hands
god's hands
gods hands
The song "Hands" by Jewell is a powerful and emotional message of hope and resilience. The lyrics exhort the listener not to worry, to govern themselves around their faith, and to remember that they are never truly broken. The final message of the song is that in the end, only kindness matters, and that each of us has the power to be one of God's hands in the world.
The opening lines "if I could tell the world just one thing / it would be we're all okay" establish the tone of the song as one of reassurance and hope. Despite any troubles or hardships the listener may face, the singer is reminding them that they are not alone and that everything will eventually be okay. The idea of wasting time on worry is also highlighted, as it is described as "useless" and "wasteful."
The lines "my hands are small I know / but they're not yours, they are my own / but they're not yours, they are my own / and I am never broken" serve as a repeated affirmation throughout the song. The image of small hands is used to symbolize vulnerability and the feeling of powerlessness that can come from facing overwhelming circumstances. However, the singer reminds the listener that despite their perceived weakness, they are still in control of themselves and are never truly broken.
Overall, the message of the song is one of empowerment and hope in the face of adversity. It encourages the listener to have faith in themselves and to remember that they are part of something larger than themselves, whether that be a community or a higher power.

Lyrics:
If I could tell the world just one thing
It would be that we're all ok
And not to worry because worry is wasteful
And useless in times like these
I will not be made useless
I won't be idled with despair
I will gather myself around my faith
For light does the darkness most fear
My hands are small, I know,
But they're not yours they are my own
But they're not yours they are my own
And I am never broken
Poverty stole your golden shoes
But it didn't steal your laughter
And heartache came to visit me
But i knew it wasn't ever after
We will fight, not out of spite
For someone must stand up for what's right
Cause where there's a man who has no voice
There ours shall go singing
My hands are small, I know,
But they're not yours they are my own
But they're not yours they are my own
And I am never broken
In the end only kindness matters
In the end only kindness matters
I will get down on my knees and I will pray
I will get down on my knees and I will pray
I will get down on my knees and I will pray
My hands are small, I know,
But they're not yours they are my own
But they're not yours they are my own
And I am never broken
My hands are small, i know,
But they're not yours they are my own
But they're not yours they are my own
And I am never broken
We are never broken
We are God's eyes God's hands God's mind
We are God's eyes God's hands God's heart
We are God's eyes God's hands God's eyes God's hands
We are God's hands God's hands We are God's hands

Heard this in the airport returning back from war. Tired, hungry, beaten, lost, just discharged from the Marines. I heard the lyrics and it saved my life. I was close to not being alive had I not heard the voice of an angel. Praise God.🙏🏼🇺🇸
