See the clouds and colours all around
I hear the waves go in and out
See the birds and stars tonight
Going with the rising tide
Shouldn't wait till morning time
Moments pass as I decide
I tell myself the reason why
Waters flow and there's no turning back
Reaching for the horizon line
Where it ends has only just begun
Going with the rising tide
Shouldn't wait till morning time
Moments pass as I decide
Shouldn't wait till morning time
Drifting through my open mind
A ray of light about to shine
I look up into the sky
See the clouds and colours all around
I hear the waves go in and out
See the birds and stars tonight
The song "Beach (Acoustic)" by Jim Guittard is all about enjoying the beauty, calmness, and tranquility of nature. The song starts with the singer looking up into the sky, and noticing the different colors of the clouds. The song continues to describe the sound of waves going in and out, while admiring the beauty of the stars and birds in the night sky. The chorus of the song reveals the singer's desire to not wait till morning time and to instead go with the rising tide. The lyrics suggest that the singer is on a journey, a journey towards the horizon line, where it ends has only just begun.
The second verse of the song has a more introspective tone to it, as it seems like the singer is trying to find a reason why they should continue to move forward. The bridge of the song is where the lyrics take a turn from searching for a reason to continue, to having an epiphany. It's as if the singer's mind has opened up and a ray of light is about to shine, meaning they've discovered the reason why they should keep going. The song concludes with the singer repeating the lyrics from the beginning, emphasizing the beauty around them and how important it is to enjoy it in the moment.
