As I entered my teens in the early 70's, and bought this album, I couldn't believe what I'd 'just missed'! Bowie 'saved' me, and then punk and a whole world of music, but this album remained a cornerstone - an education that real talent comes in very varied guises. Punk fostered the same message, but was soon misunderstood and typecast. Hopefully, the message has finally been accepted. Talent is talent, enjoy it.

I had this album for decades. Then I came across a teenager, (the son of a lady I was dating) who had a turntable and was very into old vinyl. I knew I had all my music copied to CD's and even some to old cassettes, so I gave him my collection. I'm glade I did, but I also wish I hadn't cuz I'd like to go through the old album covers from time to time. You CAN NOT find this album on anything but vinyl - that bums me out. Not available anywhere on other media. I also had Cheech and Chong's "Big Bambo" with the rolling paper STILL in it. I bought it at a garage sale for 25 cents around 2005. I meant to keep that one, but I must have given it to him as well. Oh well.....
